- This is the smallest of the French division types for the 1940 campaing. The 5e Division Légère de Cavalerie (5e DLC) tried to stop the Germans in the Ardennes and fougth them at Sedan and Abbeville. Its very interesting due to its old material and number of horses. The figures and vehicles are a mix of Simon Soldiers (pioneers and artillerymen); Hat, Esci,Caesar, EWM, Lancer and LesArméesOubliés (horsemen, Motorcyclists and Dragons Portés); Resin prints from Mário Laranja (AMR33, Unic P107BU and Simca Cinq); MiniGeneral PLA prints (75mm field guns and Lafflys), SHQ (SideCars and motorcyclists), Wespe (Renault ADH), Altaya (Panhard 178), Skytrex (H39) and plenty, plenty of my own conversions.
Welcome back. It is always good to see new videos of yours.
Glad to see you are back!
Now edited! Thanks
Fantastic this French army . Like very much the motorcyclists and the mounted units . Congratulations for your incredible painting work !
you have one of the best French collections I've ever seen
Thanks, but my inspiration came from French collectors and seeing their models in French magazines.
Always great to see early war models, my own latest purchases are french :- citreon staff car and lafry radio truck (for my 44' luftwaffe force), these to are 3d printed. I wonder which units we will see next...
I have most of the big French units made.. But maybe a break with some Germans is next.
Nicely done mate,keep it up
Great, Big, complete rapid fire force. Amazing. Best Regards 👍👍
Obrigado amigo. A seguir já tenho a DLM na mesa.
Fantástico é dizer pouco. Parabéns!
Obrigado. Os Franceses na 2ª GM são um espectáculo.
Superb!
Just wonder how you did the 25mm cannon muzzles on the Altaya Panhards. I have a few of these otherwise lovely kits but the barrels are far too short. How did you add the ‘flash guards’ (I think that’s what they’re called) on the end of the cannon barrels?
Thanks. Cant be sure how I did it but most probably with tiny blobs of GreenStuff modelled in place.
Did the French get to use machanised attacks on Germany during WW2? Se
The only attack on Germany itself was the Saar offensive but only entered a few Kms inside Germany and it was before may 40. During the French campaign the French counter attacks were limited affairs like Abbeville and Montcornet.
