Crochet for Babes and Toddlers. Crochet baby clothes. This super easy beginner friendly baby square yolk can be made then transformed into many different baby items. You can change the hook size to get 3 different sizes from the same stitch count.
Using DK (double knitting yarn) chain 48st
To make the
00- newborn use a UK 3mm hook (preemie)
0-3 months use a 3.5mm hook
3 - 6 months a 4.5mm hook
6 - 12 months a 5 or a 5.5mm hook.
