  • This one tip will transform your crochet game! In this video, I explain an incredible crochet technique called Foundation Crochet. This technique allows you to crochet with no long starting chain and also allows you to extend existing chains without ripping out your crochet. I REALLY wish I had know this when I had first started crocheting! What's your favourite crochet hack?

Wow thank you made that look so easy, that’s always been my problem, chain too tight. Will definitely be using that next time ❤

Laughing at myself. Why, when I know how to do foundation crochet stitches, why have I never thought to make a few chainless stitches when I've found that my foundation chain is too short??? I have always fudged some extra chains using the yarn tail & then worked the extra stitches into those. Unfortunately those chains 'worked in the wrong direction' always look a bit funky. This video is a lightbulb 'Doh!' moment for me. Genius. Thanks a bunch, Meema x
