You're an absolute artist, dude. I've become pretty decent at texturing recently, especially with stone, but you unlocked a whole new level in my mind with this video (the first time I've followed one of your tutorials) in the roof and the way you layer the gradient style on your texturing. It's a next level advancement for me, really being able to understand and visualize the way you're constructing those dazzling patterns. Thanks for this, hope to see many more tutorials of yours as time allows for you.
I just wanted to say even if the Estaminet of the materials was only a bit off you gave me an idea of everything I needed. I could always go back and get more of the material I needed what a great build thank you sm
Nice building! But for building it in survival its a little bit frustrating, because in first step, you use more blocks than specified before breaking them afterwards and using other blocks. That makes farming the blocks annoying and hard to follow the tutorial step by step
I was thinking the same thing until I started building it. Bc other tutorials make it more time consuming bc instead of building the full wall then breaking what you need to for like the windows...others will say 2 blocks here two here 3 here and there's so much more block counting that way. Just my opinion tho. I felt way less confused and less hectic this way
It is a bit frustrating. I think that he should have just made it solid brick and for those that like to implement different textures, then they should know to do so when they see an area of the same block. In other words, if I like to add texture to a build and I'm following a tutorial, I know to just go ahead and do that while I'm following the tutorial.
I have been searching for a tutorial to use for my latest server, non of them quite capturing what I want, but this just came across my page on Pinterest of all places, and immediately I knew this was the build I wanted for my base!! Thank you!
Can you please make a tutorial of making palm trees in minecraft because I loved your private island house video and I want to make that in my world.😄😄😄An island without palm/coconut tree is having no value🙏
Brother, bravo! I don't have enough good things to say about this build or tutorial. Easy to follow along, well described. Great dimensions and outlines, I mean this is near perfection. I am 100% invested and subscribed. If all of yr builds are this amazing and easy, I look forward to having them in my world. For the past 7 months I've been building in creative house after house and cultivating land as I go. Going to have to make some more room, but so worth it. Can't wait to see the functionality when I switch to survival mode. Thank you brother it's a beautiful addition to my world.
Im rather confused, when u texture the stone what is the other stone that u are using for the bottom on the build. I see andesite, and cobble stone but im not sure what the last one is. Its a rather dark block
This is crazy good man, keep up the awesome work, crazy to think I'm on the same server as you! I'm talking abt goodluck if you didn't understand* anyway your deff gonna be a massive RUclipsr someday, keep it up.
Great build! I'm a little frustrated because I can't seem to place the stairs next to the part of the chimney without it leaving a little gap, how do I fix this? Thanks so much!
I often dont come to building tutorials just because I imagine it takes some creativity out of building. I do love that people, including me, can take inspiration from buildings rather. I love this build and it is quite nice, It feels less intimidating by a complexity and difficulty-to-build standpoint when I see someone build it as a tutorial so thank you for making this video and all of the other tutorials you have made! I do come for a question about wooded cabin/cottage-esque builds that I am so split between. When you add your logs to the side of the house, how can you tell whether the house will look nicer and more complete if the logs on the edges are extruded out by one block or not? I feel like Ive always been told to extrude the logs to add more depth to a build, but I feel like as I see more builds by others that I want to replicate, that isnt quite true. Do you have any advice on when to choose which way to build a wooded house? what would I need to think about before starting to consider which is the better choice? If you see this, I am really thankful! I love the house, btw!~
Omg just noticed the sun and clouds are also "realistic". Do you mind sharing your list of mods? Maybe cpu/gpu specs? Absolutely love it.. very relaxing video too!
Thats everybody with every build tutorial lol. The materials list should be expansive if its a great build. Like legos. But the biggest challenge is collecting the materials if you haven't already
very nice house but your materials list is very incorrect and the way you build the house is a very annoying follow along for survival players... Sincerely, A very upset skyblock player who is just trying to make his wife a cozy home in game
I am a survival player myself and people beg and beg me to make tutorials of my builds. The reason they are off is because everyone textures differently.
Superb tutorial! Your commentary is excellent and your building skills are original and like a breathe of fresh air. You have me running for the sub button. Can't wait to do some more of your tuts. Thank you for the awesome winter cabin. 👍
I don't understand the complaints from some of you guys. I can understand if you were short a piece or two, but if you have extra, one would think it's for texturing the build.

Amazing. The creativity is off the charts. Thanks for the guide, it turned out amazing.

I appreciate the kind words!
I'm absolutely building this in the future.
had to rebuild after placing all fundament blocks because its not 29x19 but 27x17... but very nice building!
Haven't seen anyone mention it yet but you can also dig out the crawlspace under the foundation into a cellar for extra storage.
@@LadyRebelle16 totally a cool idea!
Ive been looking for exactly this type of build.
I'm building it

Try placing a plank there instead
Took me 6 hours to copy😢

Hello! Can you build something in New Year's style? If so, I will be very grateful! I send greetings from Russia!
Love you matt ❤
Even crouching, I can't seem to place the ladder on the trap doors, what could I do for that instead?
Are the trap doors placed correctly? you could also just put planks up and ladder on that!
You are probably on Bedrock and this thing is a Java feature only.
Using this design in my world!
15:38, saving my place
Thank you Matt. Is there a reason that you used glass vs glass panes for the windows? Is it how they connect?
I liked the look of it tbh
the way he called ladders fences lmfao
Haha not everyone is perfect 🤣

Mega gut sofort nach gebaut 😃
is there another way to do the ladder for the loft, i'm using bedrock edition and they wont place even when i crouch.
Love your work btw
@@SierraFinley-k2q you could just place full spruce blocks instead!
Gracias, saludos desde Argentina
Great build! btw has anyone told you before that your voice sounds very similar to ItsMarloe?
I don’t believe so as he is from the UK and I am from the USA
22:05 I couldn't do that trap door ladder in bedrock edition..

Absolutely love it.. very relaxing video too!
Only thing I used was complimentary shaders. Can be used on any PC
whats the lighting mod? or is it ray tracing only? what settings???
did you custom build that forest? or is it a mod?
Absolutely gorgeous!
It is a Java Shader and the trees are all custom built by me.
I'm having a little trouble with the foundation the pillars are just hard can I get some tips!

it took me longer to read the material list than to actually build the log cabin
Thats everybody with every build tutorial lol. The materials list should be expansive if its a great build. Like legos. But the biggest challenge is collecting the materials if you haven't already
the materials list is way off for the stone bricks and the oak planks
It’s off because i textured it so it’s a rough estimation and if you don’t texture exactly like me you won’t end up exactly the same.
