Other notes: After Haskins, we met with some other enthusiasts at this Thunderbeam in Pleasant Lake that has a fast spinning reflector disk. I was honestly kinda hoping it would spin faster though because it did the previous two times it was recorded, but I'll take it. For a while, it seemed like the reflector had gotten completely stuck, but it eventually started spinning after about a minute into the test. This thing was loud as hell from underneath, even louder than the Sterling we were at two hours earlier. Our meters read 123.1 dBA, 117.9 dBA, and 128.9 dBC from standing underneath. It was almost painful from under without hearing protection. You can also really hear the volume difference when the reflector is facing toward the cameras versus when it isn't, which is pretty cool. After this, we booked it to Lansing for their crazy low mounted STH-10 by the Capitol. Enjoy!
