I've heard Brother Cane on a classic rock station in my area, but only on Saturday nights which were exclusively requests, and the DJ who was willing to play Brother Cane is no longer at that station. Saturday nights are still requests, but they have no host and most of what you hear on Saturday nights are now songs already in heavy rotation the rest of the week.
FINALLY I get to see Roman Glick jam on the guitar (and harmonica). I had heard he switched from guitar to bass for Brother Cane when their bassist here quit after the 1st album. Eventually they disbanded and he joined Jackyl right after Tom Bettini quit, and has been with them for over 20 years now, as Jackyl continues going strong.
Saw Brother Cane in Austin, TX up close @ Antone's. They kicked ass. Damon was a killer frontman. I saw him a few ears also in his newer band opening up for Judas Priest w/ some of the boys from Thin Lizzy.
RAW ROCK........still crankin' there 1st cd....signed by all.......this is what rockin iz all about!!! when i'm 65......i'll still be listening to them......next year!!!
They opened up for a couple concert I saw in the 90s and then they held a private concert at a music store in Kalamazoo, Michigan about 40 people were there. After the show they signed autographs.
Still a great song I have a copy of that cd saw them at city stages in birmingham Alabama in the 90's great music great live performance alot of great nostalgia of those days so glad to see this !!!
Had only heard Breadmaker and Fools Shine On when I saw them open for Van Halen in '95. Immediately proceeded to buy both albums and Wishpool when it came out. Amazing that EVERY SINGLE SONG they made is on my full time playlist. Okay, I might skip Eugenia every few times but absolutely all the others kick doors down and blow out windows every time they're played. Loved DJ's acoustic Brother Cane CD, live youtube acoustic songs and everything since but still doesn't bring the vibe that the original Brother Cane songs do. Keep rockin DJ!!! Thanks for the music!!! Oh and thanks heaps Redrumrocker for posting this for our enjoyment!!!
I know the feeling, I was playing in band in Houston, and it seems like every time we played on a Friday night at a club caLed the after dark club, the DJ would announce over and over that the next night Pantera would be there and if I remember correctly it was 21 and over free, and everyone else it was $5, I don’t know why I never went to see them.
Got no shame. Well I've got no one to blame. All the same.Gonna taste the wine because it's right there in front of me. You can't find me. Never get inside of me!!!! Bldwweeeeeeeervdtssdgfegcdrgg
This stuff is sick! Please somebody make rock like this again! This is vastly superior to the crap you hear on classic rock radio.

They opened up for Ted Nugent in Detroit when I was 14...first concert ever...solid...
I met Brother Cane 5 years ago, al i can say is that this group still one of my favorite bands
Damon Johnson is currently filling in for Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd on tour
seeing him rock Allentown last night 9/30/22 brought me here
I loved Brother Cane. They were a throwback to the '70's southern rock bands.
I wouldn't call them a throw back: I'd call them genuine southern rock.

Totally feelin' a Riot vibe - love it!!
The harmonica part?
I got to see these guys play a small bar in Ocean Beach, California!! They totally tore the roof off the joint!
Impeccable performance
Never got to see them live, back in the day. Love it.

Thanks for uploading this! I saw Brother Cane in the mid 90s in Augusta, GA at The Post Office and they didn't disappoint!
The Post Office!
I saw Warren Haynes there touring in support of his first release Tales of Ordinary Madness. Crazy up close venue in a strip mall 🇺🇸🏆
Fantastic band.

I was in a 'Bama band for over 30 years and never saw them live...I could kick my OWN ass!
Which band, I’m in Huntsville
@@tidentrue - ‘Flurry’. We played mostly clubs, big parties and events like Mardi Gras in Mobile, Baldwin co. and P-cola. From ‘78 till about 2012.

I saw them with my brother from another mother, they were with Drivin and Cryin
If you like this song you should really check out Damon Johnson's (Brother Cane's singer) solo work, especially his album "Memoirs of an Uprising"
Yep, killer album!!
