That’s amazing to hear mate, thank you and glad you’re enjoying the content so far! Yeah, working through my backlog feels like a never ending task too tbh. I do months of not buying anything which helps, but then after a while I feel like I owe myself a splurge, thats how I end up with 10 more games that stay in the shrink wrap for about 8 months 😂
I really appreciate your approach to these videos. I have never commented but I feel I owe it to you as over the last year I’ve played a few great games thanks to your content. Keep doing what you do 🔥
Don Polygon ,the matter is settled ,I made sure to do exactly as you asked ,the money will be left at the usual drop point ,Vinny won't be a problem any longer
The channel that keeps on giving!! With a huge backlog of titles on many platforms over many generations I think the ps4 might just be the best and my favourite Another great hidden gem list, some of which I missed (now purchased) thanks to the Polygon don, i cant believe how unique they are, kudos for how you present, find and show them to us bro Such a great channel fella, cant big it up enough Keep it up and thanks for providing the masses with entertainment value not just on your channel but on our consoles like me, we may have had no idea exists until watching your awesome vids Love it :)
Yeah same, I think my all time favourite console might be the PS4 too. Next level first party AAA’s, a decent amount of AA titles and loads of creative Indies, with a lot getting physical releases. It certainly ticks all the boxes for me 👍🏼
Great selection you've picked out again. Just quickly, what's the name of the first game on your intro video - I'm having a complete mind blank!!! Thanks in advance 👍
Is it possible that you can put the names of your intro games in the videos? Every time you make a new video, I know I'm about to spend some money. Lol. You do an awesome job.
I had been looking forward for Curse of the Sea Rats up to its release but then the reviews were so terrible that I did not buy it... u are like the first reviewer that liked it ;) Anyway I will have another look at the prices and if it's a 20 bucks deal I'll get a copy 4 my switch collection... there's Tevi coming out in 2 days.. radiant silver gun... planetaria to import from Japan... so many games to buy this summer if u collect shmups and visual novels, metroidvanias have to take a back sit I guess!
Yeah I think I grabbed it for around £10 which was the perfect price for it imo. Like I said in the vid, it does have some performance and balancing issues but overall I still really liked it. I’d still look to buy it discounted or grab a cheap second hand copy though, definitely 👍🏼 I’ve never heard of Tevi, I’ll check that out shortly
Fantastic list as always. As to what little gems I've been playing (for quite a while I might add) I've been returning to One Piece Round the Land on the PS2. It might be a licenced title but IMO the best One Piece game to date. It's a 2,5D plattformer with minimal RPG elements. The only reason why I think it's not well known in the west is because outside of Japan it only got a PAL release with the selectable languages are German, Italian and either French or Spanish (can't really remember). No Enlish language option which I can imagine is a bummer to many. Still a whole lot of fun even if you're not a fan of the series.
Thanks mate 👊🏼 That One Piece game sounds awesome! Never heard of it and love the fact that it’s a platformer 👌🏼 will definitely keep an eye out for that! Not too long ago I played One Piece Odyssey and really enjoyed that. Not sure if you’ve checked it out yet or if turned based RPG’s are your thing but it’s a very pretty and well polished game imo 👍🏼
@@thepolygondon9198 Yeah, I've played Odyssey. I'm a huge One Piece fan so I played pretty much every game on Playstation besides the VR game as I don't have a headset yet. Odyssey had some great ideas but I felt it failed at the executions a little too many times which made it drag on when that wasn't necessary. Round the Land is far more simple minded fun in comparison. The only real downside is that it's 20 years old and the characters and arcs are not up to date. I would so much like to see a sequel with the current story progress. Be that as it may, I hope you do pick it up and play it. I do think you would like it, if you can get around the lack of English language support.
@Ivotas yeah I totally agree, Odyssey did drag a little but on the whole I did really like it (as a very casual One Piece fan!) Nice, yeah the language thing is a bit of an issue, I’ll have a look to see how vital the story bits are in it as if it’s just minor interactions I might still snag a copy if I see one 👍🏼 nice one for bringing it to my attention mate 👊🏼
@@thepolygondon9198 To be honest, the story is pretty much just there for the adventure to happen. The Strawhats arrive at an island that is like a pirate resort where you can go on a quest gain runes which when all collected will show you the location of the islands treasure. And because this is attractive to pirates all previous antagonists also have gathered. That's literally it. If you really care about the "reveal" at the end I can explain it to you when you get there. But it really is nothing spectacular even if you are a fan of the series. When I meant RPG elements I wasn't talking about the story but rather about the game play. You see this is a 2D plattformer where you can have a party of 3 people at max. And everyone has their own skillset that either supports your the character you control or you can use it directly as the controlled character to open blocked off paths to get the treasure chests. This is literally the only game where doing the collectathon was actually fun because that's actually kinda like the point. Getting all the treasure. I do think you're gonna like it if you give it a chance.^^
@Ivotas ahh ok cool, that’s kind of what I was expecting and hoping! I’ll definitely keep an eye out and get in touch if I get lost plot wise! Thanks man, really appreciate it 👊🏼
I'm torn. I wanna be greedy and insist you continue to pump out quality videos, but then I'm like damn your beating more games in 2 videos then I do in a year and you deserve a break. I'm conflicted.
I genuinely love to hear you talk about games. With a 80+ game backlog I’m doing my best not to buy any games but then you pop up and I must watch.

Same, but then I took my son to cex, and I spotted GRID and Ghostsong on ps4.
You always manage to find games I've never heard about. I'm definitely tracking Creature in the Well now 👍
Yeah that one really surprised me. Mad idea to make a pinball dungeon crawler but they really pulled it off 👌🏼
That's why he is the Don.
I really appreciate your approach to these videos.

I bought Curse of the Searats on a whim and enjoy it for what ut delivers.
I'm going to order the Journey Of The Broken Circle
Nice! It’s low key but definitely a unique one 👍🏼
What is the name of the first game in your intro. Appears to be an rpg?
That's what I want to know too.
Looks like "Bound by Flame" 👍
@@Ryan--G Thankyou
@@Ryan--G thanks! Have you tried it?
@@REDDOGandtheFAM No probs 😀

Yeah no problem, I get asked about them frequently enough to warrant it tbh 👍🏼 I’ll get that sorted for the next vid
Really enjoy your vids geeze. Thanks
Thanks mate 👊🏼
I've been curious about grabbing the curse of the sea rats, if its under a £10 i may grab it.
Yeah that’s how much I paid for it, worth a go at that price for sure 👍🏼
