Always "off the wall" "out there" and your channel fascinates me, some games I own, some I've bought after watching Its refreshing to see the games you present and as an avid collector myself its good to see you pointing out ones I've missed, (thanks) Some a little pricey lol, Wallachia is currently 86 euros (cheapest)!!! More please fella and keep up the great work EDIT : I wrote this before watching to the end, and bam gas guzzles, again a great find, purchased, thanks man
Yep, super powerful sci-fi weapons that can only be used by women is definitely a trope in anime. Another example that instantly came to mind was Sakura Wars
Nice list one again mate. Gas Guzzlers seems nice. Reminds me of my favorite mode in Wipeout HD Fury which was Eliminator. So this might be very well down my alley.^^
@@thepolygondon9198 I still subscribe to the notions that fun can make up big time for the lack of being robust in terms of features and modes. And that is not even nostalgia talking here. Many of PS2 and PS3 games I'm playing now, I just enjoy a lot more than modern games because they enable me to dive into the madness and turn my brain of from stress much quicker than modern games that always seem to ask me to pass an entrance exam before I can get to the fun part. So definitely a game I will be looking out for.
I rewatch your vids regularly and because of you me and my cousin got mad max and I was not prepared for how awesome that game is! It's one of if not the best hidden gems I've played across all platforms
Nice!! I have over 160 PS4 games now in my physical collection but two of these you've featured aren't in there yet. Will add them soon (Astria Ascending and Gas Guzzlers). Tx for the recommendations
Great Vid! That Alice Gear reminds me of Zone of the Enders Combat, not just the triangular cross-hair but the movement too, on my radar now for sure. I tried a game called The VideoKid 80's edition after seeing a gif from it. It's a surprisingly good Paperboy homage from 2018, blew past me completely! Check it out if you haven't already, it's cheap short and sweet.
Nice one man 👊🏼 I’ve had the remaster of Zone of the Enders for PS4 in my backlog since it released in 2018. I love mecha combat games and never played the original so I really need to do my homework and get in on that! Never heard of VideoKid though, sounds cool, will definitely check that out man, cheers 👍🏼
@Polygon Don Is there a Volume 12? Wow! 🤯 I think I watched all 11! The PS4 is my favorite console of all Time! 🤩 I S Tier it with PSVR! So many Great exclusives! Some of my favorite games of all Time are on the PS4! I see some Developers making games for it throughout 2025 and why Not with probably and 80+ million user Base! At least fresh Indies and Some Double A games! 😎
Hi mate, Volume 12 will be out very soon, this time next week hopefully. Yeah I agree, my fav console of all time too. It's just got such a massive selection of quality titles from literally every genre out there. So many games and still loads scheduled for release in the near future. What a system :)
Indivisible is something I’ve wanted to showcase for a while, really cool art style and combat mechanics. Shame what happened to that studio. Shadows Awakening I’ve covered in a previous video and Sword of the Vagrant has been in my Amazon basket for a while now. Need to just grab it already as I’ve heard really good things about it
I purchased a new, open-box copy of Astria Ascending for the Switch from a local junk shop around here a couple of years ago but haven't had a chance to play it. I'd heard there were some performance issues (not sure if they applied to all versions), but it was cheap enough that I figured it was worth the risk. Funnily enough, I just got Alice Gear Aegis a week or two ago. Saw that brand new copies were pretty low priced now so I went ahead and ordered a copy. I ended up getting it on Switch rather than the Playstation because Sony had some baffling decision making and ended up censoring some of the outfits, where-as on the Switch the game is complete. What's funny is, if you actually read up on what was censored, it makes no logical sense. Just couldn't support that kind of thinking so in this instance it was Nindendo who got my cash.
I didn’t notice any performance issues when playing Astria on PS4 for what it’s worth. And I had no clue about the Sony censorship on Alice Gear. Weird as you’d assume Nintendo would be the company to act in that regard as they are the more kid friendly console but there’s a few stories like this where Sony seem to be the stricter out of the two
i have gas gazzlers extrem and no online was wath made me bay the game i em a trophy hunter and no onlyne is amazing plus the guy ho voices duck nuckem is one of the rezons i got the game and for future vids i wook sujest u say if the games have plats is an inportant fact for sam gamers
Why is the ps4 version of Inked is recommended by yourself? I would think the switch version would be better for the ability to play it on the go as well as docked.
No specific reason for it, I just found it on PS4 at the time but could’ve easily picked up the Switch version if that was available. Puzzle games like this are great to have on the go and the graphical fidelity isn’t so high that the switch would struggle with it so go with which ever takes your fancy the most 👍🏼
Wäre Wallachia mit einem männlichen Protagonisten und dementsprechend angepasste Geschichte, würde ich's mir gleich kaufen. Von vermännlichen Frauen hab ich die Schnauze voll.

Uh oh, I’ve covered Sakura Wars here too! A couple more and this basically an Otaku channel 😂
Nice list one again mate. Gas Guzzlers seems nice. Reminds me of my favorite mode in Wipeout HD Fury which was Eliminator. So this might be very well down my alley.^^
Yeah it’s not massively robust in terms of features and modes but the gameplay that is there is solid and super fun. Cheap too 👍🏼

Thanks for the recommendations
