Nivi is a photographer and web developer based in Leamington Spa. She uses photography to capture her passion for details and as a way of facing her challenges in a positive manner. Thank you so much for sharing this very inspirational talk. Photography has been my passion since childhood. My vision is impaired too by a corneal condition called Fuchs Dystrophy which makes me very sensitive to bright light and creates flare at points of contrast. Editing on the computer can be challenging because I often see flare that isn't there, but like you I have chosen photography to express my creativity as well as to journal my life and share my appreciation of what I see. Having impaired vision, I believe, makes me even more appreciative of the beauty of nature because I realize what a gift vision is. I wish you a very slow progression of your retinitis pigmentosa and the ability to continue to use your camera to share your love of life.
