Old man? 🤣 I love you guys! I changed out my equipment years ago, but it's time again! Things have changed. I'm going to switch to the canister valve, just for the heck of it! Btw, beautiful yard! Beautiful hair on the 'Old Man'. 🤣 Thank you, Gentlemen!

I asked my son-in-law to pick me up a complete toilet repair kit. He came in with a fluidmaster which I had never used before (I always got the cheap-o ones.) I had no trouble putting it in, the instructions were easy to follow and it works great. To hell with the cheap-o ones.

Thanks Jim for the great information I have always used fluid master and had good luck. Hey Jim how many years young are you, I am 66 and in a couple of months I will 67 these golden years are not what they are cracked up to be with aches and pains 😂

We installed a new fluid master. But it changed from the previous one and was hard to get the toilet to flush properly due to low water pressure. After many adjustments we shortened the chain and that worked. Good luck playing with yours.

Hi , love your channel! I have a problem with my master bathroom COLD water faucet . There’s weak water pressure and my wife’s sink is next to mine and she does not have any issues whatsoever with the cold water pressure. As a matter of fact, there’s only exist on my Fossett in the entire house. We had the house re-piped with pex several years ago and no issues I even checked up in the attic there’s no leak. I had a plumber come and he told me the problem was in my Fossett and I should install a new one. I just got finished installing a brand new Moen faucet, and there are no leaks underneath, but I still have the same issue with low pressure on the cold water side just a back up a bit. I did test the waterline before installing the new faucet into a bucket and it was quite forceful. I also took out the aerator and let the faucet run for several minutes. I still have the problem of low water pressure only on the cold side. I would very much appreciate your thoughts before I call another plumber. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Change the angle stop and make sure there is not a kink in the supply line that either comes with the faucet or one you installed. You also want to make sure the angle stop is open all the way. If you have quarter turn angle stops, I recommend you replace with the old style compression angle stops. Just recently I had trouble with a quarter turn angle stop. Check the cold water supply line going to the faucet first. It probably has a kink in it. The braided stainless can kink very easily.

@@TheGrumpyPlumber Thank you ! It turns out that there was some debris (plastic)in the cold water supply line and I was able to remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Problem solved ! Strong pressure again . Thanks for the suggestions it really was helpful ! All the best .

Both are ceramic materials. They are virtually indistinguishable from each other.
