Strong Mummy,i was once a mum of a cerebral palsy kid,but unfortunately she died at 10yrs,i thank God coz I believe He believe in me for blessings me with such a kid....
Ms Carol be encouraged my daughter has the same condition she just turn 11yrs , I was in denial at first, I didn't want to talk about it for 2yrs but once I got healed I talk about her, I go with her everywhere, I dress her like a princess coz she is one. She is a beautiful and blessed girl.

A very courageous lady. It will be well with you. My boy walked when he was 2years and 3 months.And he talked when he was 4 years and 2 months. God is always faithful,today he is 13 years and you can't notice anything.God is with you. I salute all mothers with special kids.

carol i can relate I had a brother who had cp who made our lives change... my mum resigned from her job and lives became difficult but God took him away from us and its diffcult for us to cope without him, lucky u your mum was on your side

Thanks Carol for sharing your story. Mumbi will grow into one beautiful successful girl. Your story reminds me of a young man I used to teach who has down syndrome, he was such a jovial young man, very loving and funny. Could not communicate well but had a way of passing message.
