The way Miku and Saiki have shorten and twisted her lyrics to fit Kanami's writing is pure genius. The cadence, syncopation and soulful expression, like in Choose Me, is rare and kinda old-school-rock exceptional. To be honest when I first discovered Band-Maid last month I was binge watching their US tours on YT and I found it interesting that Miku always uses the word “po!” during their omajinai time! I thought did Miku study in the Philippines or something (ala Sandara Park)? Then as I learned it’s the kuruppo (pigeon) pesona! Anyway, salamat po! May kababayan din akong fave and fan ang Band-Maid!
