@SherpasDay is there pre-approval in the UK? The first thing I did when I was told I had 10 weeks to find a place and get out was to seek pre-approval for a mortgage so I knew how much I had to shop with. Thankfully, the loan officer is married to my dietitian, so he got everything done very quickly. When I made an offer on a house (and I did, three three weeks in a row! 😦), I was able to say "everything is ready to go, I just need an address to put in the blank." Of course, because of the market around here I also had to waive inspection, so I could only put an offer down on places that I knew were pretty tight

A small place takes less upkeep and it's just you and Sherpa. You need the outside for Big and Little Red as well for Sherpa to roam around in. Now you get to pack up and see just how much you've accumulated while living in the caravan-great time to sort through and clean out what isn't needed. The time will fly by faster than you think Jamie. So happy for you both!

Huge congratulations too from the Netherlands to both of You guys! Absolutely brilliant! I know what You're going through. I myself went for early retirement last year (I'm 64, and also own a little campervan!) and moved to a little house in a rural environment and these are the best things I have ever done! Congratulations Jamie and Sherpa. All the paperwork is such a pain isn’t it. In Australia it does seem to be a little more simple when buying and selling a house but still a headache. I got through the process by thinking “this time next year this will all be behind me”.
It's crazy that the paperwork takes so long but I'm so very happy for you Jamie and Sherpa can't wait to see the new place. As you get older it's great to have a smaller house cause you don't need a big house and a big garden for our floofy friends is always enjoyed. Bless your heart Jamie, don't stress too much

This all was a huge contribution to the world to start this channel.... It affected people on so many levels in this is the result.... For those who were going through tough times this channel gave daylight of Hope... So it's not just about the entertainment this is about being part of something bigger.... In my first place I lived with a folding table and 1 chair with no furniture for 6 months. It was worth every moment. The dogs actually preferred it! Ha!!

I work in conveyancing and you have no idea how much of a hammering we get from clients because we don't move fast enough when actually we're waiting as well. It'll happen, just hang in there!
Moving forward is always a win for Jamie and Lord Sherpa! Thrilled for you to plant roots and the comfort it will bring. You can always still take a wander but know your little castle waits for you every night to come home.(:
Pick a room a day (or a couple of days) and go through stuff. Pack what you want to take, labeling the box as to what it is and what room it will go to. Sort the rest into stuff for donation and stuff for the dump and make a weekly run to get rid of the donate/junk. I think you’ve a second bedroom? Start there and the start staging your “to be moved” in there. Clean furniture and spaces as you go. You’ll be less anxious because you are doing productive activities towards the move. It’ll also mean you’re only taking what you want to take. And you won’t be tossing stuff higgly-piggly into boxes at the last minute. It’ll also make it easier to sort and find stuff once you’ve moved.

I’m so happy for Jamie and Sherpa!👏 I don’t know the process in your country but here in the states buying a house is one of the most stressful processes I’ve been through,once they say we have everything we need,I would get a call that they need something else and I’m going to tell you that literally went on until the day before the closing was scheduled, but I want to tell you the day I did close on my house which meant it was finally done,I signed all the paperwork and the keys were put in my hands I literally cried tears of joy,I realized everything I’d been through to get there was worth every worry and sometimes sleepless nights was absolutely worth it,because the first time I got to my house unlocked the front door and walked in was one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced knowing it was mine. Sorry for the rambling but I know after your roller coaster of emotions both you and Sherpa will walk into your new home and feel the absolute same joy of knowing it’s yours.
They can cancel the deal literally up till the last day which is so stressful
@@SherpasDay I understand completely, when my daughter and son-in-law bought their first home they literally got a call on the way to the closing and said it was postponed because of some issue. My daughter called me hysterical crying and said they were just going to forget it and give up,but they didn’t and within 2 weeks everything was settled and scheduled another closing,I held my breath until she called me and said everything was signed and it was there’s! So it’s easy for me to tell you it will all happen,but it’s going to test you and Sherpa,but I know it will happen,keep the faith hang in there and I’m looking forward to the day you guys post the video of your and Sherpas new home. P.S I still live in the same house I bought in 2008 because I never wanted to go through the house buying process ever again 😂😂 you guys are in my prayers and it will be yours 🙏🤞

It would be nicer if there is a larger interior for you, Jamie. Good luck with the offer! I presume that you are buying rather than renting this new place. If so, you can enlarge the house to suit your expanding needs; like getting a brother or sister for Sherpa.

I don’t envy you the wait. When we bought our house it went to a closing date. I was a complete wreck with the waiting!! When our solicitor called to tell us we’d got the house it was the best feeling ever. 2 years later and were settled and happy. You have that to look forward to. Can’t wait to see the house. When I started the process to buy my home. I took a friend and my Little Buddy (doxie) over. I set Buddy down and he took off. He toured the whole house before coming back just as happy and dancy as he could be. He just knew this was our new house. That doxie is now 16 years old. I hope you enjoy your new community. 😊

Always keeping our Paws Crossed for you ! It will always work out ! My sister went through the same thing took 4 months to get mortgage approvals and then 2 days later an electrical fire happened in the house she wanted to buy and it burned to the ground . She was devastated , but a week later she stumbled on a house while she was jogging that she fell in love with and paid half of what she was going to pay for the other house. Things happen for a reason brother ! I expect to see the house as soon as you have keys in your paws ! 🐺🐺🐺
Hard to tighten one’s belt but it can be
manageable. And more grateful for the
ability to do. Growing up pains do hurt a bit. 😂😂
