All you need is a back yard table for guests to sit at and enjoy the dogs playing . Maybe you could build a picknick Table.? A nice big table is all you need for guests to enjoy their coffee or tea outside and enjoy your million dollar $$$$ VIEW !!

Thank goodness the rain held off until Nook, Granny, and Gramps had their visit. Sherpa was worn out after their visit. I'm sure he's so happy now he can fall asleep outside in his own yard without having to be tethered. Good on you Jamie for choosing such a great home. I think it was meant to be.

The more I see the new house, the more I like the idea of living somewhere rural. Clean air, spacious, privacy, closer to nature etc.

Looks like Sherpa, and his friends, could benefit by a large dog splash/sprinkler padout in the yard for hot days. I discovered these on Amazon - they were originally made for kids but became extremely popular for dogs so now get made out of tough PVC material for dogs,and my dogs love it way more than swimming,and they love swimming. Ot is basically a PVC circular pad (different sizes)and in use you just hook up the garden hose to the pad, it has a ring around it that is 2-4 inches high and has sprinkler nozzles in the ring. The water sprinkles upwards and can be directed into the pad so water pools on the pad, or outside the pad or alternating. My dogs love to run through it, especially if I alternate it to sprinkle water on the pad and on the grass, love to roll on the pad, or jump to snap at the water streams, or just lay there to get wet and cool off. Its a great way to have fun with the dogs, and let them cool down while also watering the grass, I just drag the pad around the garden as one area gets well watered to a much drier area.

Please, use the dishwasher at least once a month so the parts do not go bad. It is realy good when you are sick as it serialize the dishes and glasses. Maybe your daughter can help you with that!
