I grew up in the Sugarloaf country club literally been living in the country club since the late 90s as a child. This is the most affluent country club in Georgia with a lot of old wealth. The manor country club is a new money type of living and we cannot forget about the river club country club in Suwanee and the country club of the south, which is another old money type of living country club.
Sugarloaf and River Club are such iconic communities, each with their own unique flair. It’s amazing how they’ve maintained their reputation for excellence over the years. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
I lived in Buckhead several years ago. I think that was the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived. Unfortunately I had to sell it for at least a million dollars than I paid for it. I wish I had just stayed there. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived. Always choose Buckhead if you can afford this area. I highly recommend it.
Very nice. I live near Sugarloaf and my kids will go to Peachtree Ridge when they reach high school, but we aren't in the golf community. Also, what do you know about Keith Sweat? lol
Sugarloaf is such a beautiful neighborhood! Peachtree Ridge is a fantastic school, and it’s great to hear that your family will get to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Thanks for sharing!
Gwinnett County definitely has some amazing options! Large lots and beautiful homes are a huge draw. Thanks for highlighting it-always worth a closer look!
@@ConradDeas I’m being sarcastic. Gwinnett County is geographically undesirable. The areas closest to the highways are trash. Especially the 85 and spaghetti junction!!

I fly around Atlanta… the Buckhead and now Brookhaven homes are the places where the high dollar property is for Atlanta. Many you wouldn’t know by Zillow, or other MLS comps, because they buy and don’t sell for mostly decades.
You’re so right-Atlanta has some incredible high-dollar properties that are tucked away in Buckhead and Brookhaven. The exclusivity and history of those homes really make them stand out. It’s always fascinating to learn about properties that rarely hit the market!
One neighborhood you didn’t show was Country Club of The South. One home I did some work in was perched on the tallest hill. You could see Stone Mountain from the great room. I’m sure you’ve been to Reynold’s Plantation (they call it Reynold’s Lake Oconee now). I’ve been in most of the high end neighborhoods over the years but none of them compare to Reynold’s. DreamBuilt builds the big ones. The new section looks prehistoric with giant boulders throughout. Something I’ve seen twice is buying the lot next door and putting a full size house and calling it the pool house. These are LAKE LOTS! Imagine that. 😂 Keeping up with the Jones’s is difficult over there.
Country Club of the South is such a stunning neighborhood-I absolutely agree! The views from those hills are incredible. Thanks for sharing your insight-it’s definitely a community worth highlighting!
That’s amazing! Milton has really proven to be a great place to live and invest in over the years. It’s such a wonderful community with so much to offer!
You’re right-this part of Georgia is absolutely beautiful. It’s wonderful to see how much people care about creating a sense of community, and I always love hearing different perspectives. Thanks for sharing!
Lynyrd Skynyrd is the name of the band, not a person. They got the name from their high school gym teacher, Leonard Skinner. All of the original members are dead. The band touring now calling themselves Lynyrd Skynyrd is basically a cover band.
Thank you for sharing that cool backstory about Lynyrd Skynyrd! It’s amazing how Gary Rossington, one of the original members, played with the band all the way until his passing in 2023. What a legacy!

Yes! Roswell is a special area for sure! One of my favorite downtown areas.

Not sure which ones you’re referencing, but the majority of the ones noted are for those that live in those communities.
