Of all the wonderful dolls, their clothing items and other accessories in the Grovian collection, this is the one that I most long to see. I never will, because I can't travel, but oh, how I'd love to see those whites close up so I could try to replicate them for my inherited 8" lady.

PS. Could the short career as a doll's clothing maker in the 19th century to be the result of natural decline in eyesight or perhaps arthritic joints in the hands?.Both seriously affect my ability now. In spite of glasses and pain relief, I am no longer as capable of fine work as I was in my earlier years.
