Amazing! This works! Thanks! I didn't even need to remove the cover, just used needle nosed pliers..
You just saved me so much time!!! I was about to break down the carb and clean everything, but after I watched this video I looked at the exhaust…clogged to shit! Thanks a million!
Thanks for the tips, I just a BG-50 and I want to be sure I run it properly.
I see so many people feathering the throttle on these machines constantly, they’re ultimately made for full throttle at maximum performance to burn right like you were saying! A lot of people think that causes premature wear when if everything is working correctly it’s how they were made to be used, it’s a stihl !
Exactly!
I believe some people feather it because they use poor quality fuel. Gotta do it to keep it running.
Mine is brand new. Pulled it approximately 30 times before it started. Went precisely by the book. Using 50:1 Truefuel.
Flooded it out?
@@Carlsmower Probably. I'll figure out it's "combination" pretty soon. 😊
Great video well done with great tips!
Work perfect on my bg-50 it was the screen thank you!
Now run that baby hard and it should stay clean
Where you bogging down because of a plugged fuel filter?
Thanks! Had trouble finding a video with my screen style spark arrestor. It’s not the bolt style. Up and running again no problem
Is it normal for them to bog a little until is ran full throttle for a while. Mine is new it has to be ran for awhile to reach it's maximum potential.
Yes I would say that’s normal. Also the machine will get more power as it breaks in generally between 15 and 20 hours. But it is normal for a machine to fluctuate between running perfect and a little bit “off” that is critical to it not running too lean and damaging the machine.
Thanks so much
Nice video, so true!
It want prime the bubble is good
Are you saying your primer doesn’t work? It means you probably have a stuck check ball in the carb. Sometimes seafoam in the fuel will free it up. Sometimes you need a new carb.
My bg50 is bogging down, right after brand new spark plug and air filter change
Stihl corporation can't afford a decent USB microphone so there could be a decent volumn on this stuff?????
I’m sorry we are continuing to work through improvements to our videos. Thanks for the feedback and hopefully you got the info you needed
You talk too much
