After his coming out video and him speaking openly about how he wanted to represent his community the best way possible in fear of being oppressed further is moving, sad, yet respectful knowing he’s trying so hard. So, it's possible Eugene actually told them to say that. EX: I doubt they actually know about Ariel but they made sure to mention her. It's possible they watch Try Guys (or have at least seen them around) but I think it's more likely that they filmed themselves on the course, edited it down, and then the commentators were fed some/most of the lines (I think a few comments were probably genuine like "did he just meow!?" LOL)
