Being willing to let go of my need for control and trust that if I relax and let my teacher guide me that I’ll be safe. Having that trust violated is the worst thing that can happen as a student. I hope that experience hasn’t kept you from trusting other mentors in your life. *hugs*

Everyone has struggles, even professionals have struggles, and everybody deal with struggles differently. So if Ned afraid of heights, at least he does his best to overcome his fear. At the same time I can’t help but feel this wave of overwhelming sadness because of all the fond memories related to this channel that I very much cherish. I’m in no place to tell people what the proper way to react to this is, all I know is that most people cheat (that’s factual) and while there’s no real valid excuse for that, everyone is judging him very harshly and that’s what happens when you don’t view “famous” people in the same category as normal human beings with faults and end up holding them in higher regard. We should all be a bit more forgiving and rational when it comes to these matters, but that’s just my opinion.

We shouldn’t have this level of unhealthy attachment to celebrities or Internet famous people to the point we put them on a pedestal and expect them to do no wrong because they’re our “role models”. They don’t owe us anything (especially when it comes to their private life) because at the end of the day, we know them more than they know us.. And as much as we want to act like we have a very strong bond there’s still a screen filtering their lives. It’s a unilateral relationship. Sad but true.
