Well... Ned is a nickname for Edward, not just in this Ned's case. It's one of those weird things like Bill for William or Bobby for Robert or Dick for Richard. At some point in history, this nickname style happened where somehow the nickname starts with a different letter than the real name.
This is why I friggin´love the Try Guys... they could be doing their makeup this week and then boxing the next, or baking bread with their partners and then blowing stuff up... So cool!

I would love to see the try guys trying ASL and the ASL community! I just thought of it and thought it would be a fun awareness that the ASL community exists and is really awesome, but also it would be cool to see the guys trying to sign and to meet/sign with people in the ASL community.
Ariyanna amoako ASL University online. Bill Vicars in RUclips (ASL University is his website). Also ASL Connect through Gallaudet University (only Deaf university in the US). Also Facebook groups such as ASL That! Look for Deaf events and the Deaf community in your local area (check Facebook). In my experience the Deaf community is very welcoming to new signers regardless of their hearing status as long as the individual is respectful and willing to learn. Edit: Deaf is capitalized here as it refers to the Deaf culture. Deaf culture focuses around ASL and the view of not viewing hearing loss as a deficit. The capitalization is to separate it from deaf and deaf/hard-of-hearing which just refers to hearing loss. Please note if you are referring to a member of the Deaf community it is not offensive to call them Deaf.
Ariyanna amoako The best way to learn ASL is to get out into your Deaf community. I learned during my undergraduate degree, but I was always told that the best way to learn is to get into your Deaf community around you. I know right now is difficult to get out and there probably aren’t any events happening, but if you look online in your area, they might be hosting zoom events or other virtual events that could help you start the process of learning ASL. It’s a really great language and culture/community! It’s more than just the language which is why I really enjoy it! Highly recommend to get out into your Deaf community or tune into virtual Deaf community events!
Lydia Rhoa Just make sure that you’re using signs that are specific to your area’s dialect. Just like speech can have different accents, ASL can have different dialects and how each sign is signed. That’s why my teachers in my undergrad ASL classes always told us the best way to learn and keep up with your skills is to go get involved in the ASL/Deaf community in your area. It’s also a great way to meet new people! I understand that might not be entirely possible right now, but some events are being held on zoom or other virtual programs to be able to stay connected. That could be a good option as well until it’s ok to go meet again in person.

Honestly I was on the edge of my seat with Ned and Eugenes fight. They did so well and I’m so proud of them both. And a huge shoutout to the trainers for being so supportive and treating them like real boxers. Never watched boxing before but I absolutely enjoyed this!
“Try guys try volleyball” ... i could only imagine how cakey that video would be
T Onacsil omgg i want it
Oh my god yes I need that
THEY SHOULD TRY VOLLEYBALL!!!!!!!
AAA PLEASE
YESSSS
I’ve been watching the try guys for like 5 years, and I NEVER KNEW NED WAS SHORT FOR EDWARD?!?!
I'm not even sure if it's just a joke or serious, but same xD
I only knew it because of Game of Thrones!
Cynthia Romero Nickname Nedward
@@29jgirl92 omg I've watched GOT and I never realised this hahahaha
yeaah ikr?! his full name is actually edward gallo fulmer. i just saw it on wikipedia lmao xD
Keith:" He's not married. Hes not even engaged"
2020 Zach: "about that"
"boxers are the kindest people you'll meet... we're always on time" is the cutest shit I've heard all day
it's kinda true. there's always going to be exceptions but most high level fighters get to their position by being intelligent and disciplined.
@@soto42 So true. Know several people who actually got better at self control due to martial arts training.
@@soto42 I don't know. Many UFC fighters definitely seem like they're dumb as rocks and really aggressive assholes. Then there's Floyd Mayweather that can't even read...
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise I heard that boxers are a risk group for agression and anger control stuff because of being hit in the face all the time. Apart from obvious damage (face being hit) it eventually damages front lobes, which uh, are responsible for that stuff
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise boxers are not dumb but they has to be aggressive because of they are not they will loose the match. Sometimes anger is good. And since they release all of their anger in the ring, they will be the coolest person among crowd.
Neds real name is “Edward”?! My life has been a lie...
Its nedward actually
Anna Verena I saw “one reply” below the comment and I clicked. Hoping, nay praying, that someone had said Nedward. You did not disappoint. Thank you.
Well... Ned is a nickname for Edward, not just in this Ned's case. It's one of those weird things like Bill for William or Bobby for Robert or Dick for Richard. At some point in history, this nickname style happened where somehow the nickname starts with a different letter than the real name.
SunyiSideUp where as my nickname just takes off the last 3 letters 😂😂
my nickname just takes the last two letters off and adds a y
This is why I friggin´love the Try Guys... they could be doing their makeup this week and then boxing the next, or baking bread with their partners and then blowing stuff up... So cool!
Keith’s commentary during Ned and Eugene’s fight made my entire day
I can’t take Ned seriously with his Harry Potter zip up.
same
Ned vs Eugene, the greatest anime rivalry ever created
As a weeb I appreciate the anime reference 👌
Keith and Zach were low key scared when Ned and Eugine got real.
im just rewatching the guys' old videos and I must say that moment the trainer chased zach was so cute? lol
Try Guys should try pole dancing after this lockdown
Mara Elisa OMG YESSSSS! And in heels! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
I'm surprised they haven't yet
@@joycelyn7270 Same. I mean, even the Game Grumps have tried it!
OMG yes or belly dancing haha i hope they follow a bob ross tutorial too
Yesssss they have to!!
I’m not surprised how hard Ned and Eugene went during their boxing match, but i can’t believe Ned almost knocked Eugene out.
Yea I think given that Eugene almost legit passed out ned should have won
I'm surprised they let him keep going after he looked dazed.
Personalive But Eugene hit more then him. Ned just hit harder which is amazing, considering how much Eugene punched him
It's because the amount of time ned hit him in the face
Eugene didnt keep his hands up
I’m lowkey proud of Eugene and Ned, seeing the trainers impressed with their fight.
Ned: *tries to look like a good boxer*
Also Ned: *wears a Harry Potter hoodie*
Ned is like that one kid who’s a try hard during PE
Eugene is the kid who’s just naturally good without even trying
Keith is the one who asks to walk instead of playing sports
And Zach is the one hiding under the bleachers
underrated comment
@Davis Whitaker they never said there was
I’m the try hard and I’ll destroy you
Davis Whitaker but the kids that get so into gym class are so annoying😂 I just want to sit there and only move barely enough to get an A. I’ll work out at home, when I’m at school I don’t want to get all sweaty.
Progressive males compete in Broadway and figure skating. Th
Th female trainer is so good at giving technical pieces of advice
shes so cool
I'm still at how she didn't warn Eugene to keep his guard up that's the number one rule to not get hit in the face
JustExisting she could have and it just was t shown
There’s something about how the trainers explained and walked the guys through the steps of boxing that was just so,,,soothing? I really enjoyed watching this and it makes me want to try boxing for exercise!
Boxing is great fun! Even if it's just with gloves and pads with a friend :)
Their accents probably helped with how soothing they seemed. But yeah, easy going and super supportive duo. I'd love to train with them!
Yes!!! I've had multiple martial arts coach and shaming or yelling was never the way to teach students. The best coaches are patient with you and they take their time explaining.
Boxing is very, very mellow. Yes, it's punchsports. Yes, you're trying to hurt someone. But it's like, physical mathematics. Not hurr grr I smack thing.
So soothing and then 'He's tired, he's fucked. He's fucked.'
Are we not going to talk about how good Zach’s body roll was
It's really admirable how resilient Ned and Eugene were through out their rounds and how aggressive they were with each other yet neither of them took the sport to heart. That's really good sportsmanship
One question: did Keith ever get his football back??
Inquiring minds need to know
Ned has 2 sides of him:
1-Caring husband and dad
2-A tiger that has been let out of a cage
Liana Mursadies Carole baskin agrees
Whitty Jonathan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw this comment and all I could think was "there better be a carole baskin reference in the responses
It's all about balance...
Nah a dangerous creature that will not the hesitate to kill you
it is absolutely hilarious that neds “rocky” eminem look consists of a hogwarts jacket
Nobody:
Eugene and Keith: playing a failed game of Rock Paper Scissors
“Keith and Zach are going to....hug probably” yes, duh Eugene.
“Your real name is Edward and you picked going by Ned?” Wait,,,so ned isn’t his real name??? Why is this news to me???
Naya Jade I had the same thought process
Same lol
Ned is short for Edward, so...
To be fair, what would Ned be short for? Nedward? Haha. Some nicknames are just weird. Like how Dick is short for Richard. Or Bill for William. I don’t know why things are the way that they are lol
@@cassidylouwerens1768 we have Sandy Andy...we need Nedward Ned
Keith’s terrible jokes just make me confident that he will be a great dad.
Can we just appreciate the fact that while Eugene and Ned were killing each other Zach and Keith punched and hugged at the same time? FRIENDSHIP GOAL.
Ned: “Eugene, you can punch me in the face...if you can.”
Keith: “Oooh, okay, well there you go.” 😬
Dead 😂
Ned: tried to look like rocky
Also Ned: wears Hogwarts hoodie
Omg thank you for all the likes! I’ve never gotten this many!
Addi Epps painful
Ned and Eugene when they go into these fights kinda makes me nervous because they both get really into it
keith + zach: not actually trying to hurt each other, end up just hugging in the middle, goof around a lot of the time
ned + eugene: FIGHTING WITH ALL OF THEIR STRENGTH, PUNCHING EACHOTHER IN THE FACE
I love how Eugene is so tough and focused, until he gets distracted by Keith's ass jiggle 😂
Progressive males are often distracted by male arse
@@poedameron195 *SHIIIIIIIIIIII*
“It does well in America but not so good in the UK” sums up nearly every UK accent. Nobody cares about my accent, I visited NYC and it was constant “oh my god your voice!”
I have to admit that the yes, the Brits really hate each others' accents :D
Its the Mackem accent
Yeah. Got it wrong. It's not strong, though.
Well for me I was originally in London then moved up to Manchester and every time I talk people make me say stuff they act like they never heard any other accent
im from liverpool how do u think I feel hfhfksdhk
Keith and Zach’s hug is the most wholesome thing ever!
“Thinks he looks like Rocky but really just looks like 8 mile” had me laughing soooooo hard 😂😂😂😂😂
EDIT: wow guys I didn't expect all the love! Thank you!
the hogwarts jacket really takes him out of it lmao
Saaaame LOL
I was literally thinking it before he said it
Same😂
I have u a 1k
Ya welcome 😘😁😊
Keith and Zach during middle of fight: start goofing around and hugging
Eugene and Ned during middle of fight : trying to kill each other
Damn Ned really punch Eugene in the face rocked him.
Not gonna lie, I was totally team Ned.
Zach and Keith's fight was actually really cute. It was like a wallaby fighting a relatively unfit kangaroo
that is the best description of it
lol
Ned and Eugene: *start really beating the crap out of each other*
Zach: "You guys both doin' good? Can I get a verbal 'okay'?"
Precious caring king 😍😍

I would love to see the try guys trying ASL and the ASL community! I just thought of it and thought it would be a fun awareness that the ASL community exists and is really awesome, but also it would be cool to see the guys trying to sign and to meet/sign with people in the ASL community.
I actually really want to learn asl do you know any free online asl classes i can take
Ariyanna amoako ASL University online.
What's that? American Sing Language?
Ned looking like he's more ready to play quidditch than box with that jacket
Loving both coaches, they are honestly trying to teach them but also enjoying the process. Also love the fact guys are never afraid of being silly
Try guys during the intro
Zach: worries he’ll break himself
Keith: spends the whole intro making dad jokes
Eugene: makes fun of all the other try guys
Ned: makes faces and punches at the camera and says nothing
zach: screaming and _boodyrooll_
Eugene's best insult: Ned, your name is Edward, and you picked going by Ned. Who would do that?
I mean, Eugene really got him with that one
I was today years old when I learned Ned is a nickname for Edward
Ned almost knocked out Eugene
I feel Ned fits him more than like, Ed or Eddy would lmfao
and full Edward is just too....posh sounding for him? lmfaoo
@Delaney Hughes me too lmao but in general i think ned can be a nickname
@@JohnSmith-kh3cp It's more of an old-fashioned nickname. I'm over 50 and grew up knowing 4 Edwards and 3 of them went by Ned. But I don't hear it as much with millennials or gen z. Maybe we can call Ned "vintage" lol
Zach and Keith: in the sidelines yelling tactical moves
Ned and Eugene: whats a tactical move?
