I loved it. I was proud of being a military brat. My Dad inspired me to follow in his footsteps. I wasn’t sure this was the right path I should chose. Now after 26 yrs, I was happy I chose this path. The family service from generations in the military is huge. Only 1% serve and they come predominantly from the South and Midwest. It’s really a stunning demographic for our military to recruit from. I hope for the best in recruiting this fiscal year.

For all of you be you black white or brown......and think you don't have the opportunity...it's because ......you would rather live in you worlds of rich neighborhoods and inner city hoods......I came from a poor family in England.......to America and I chose to serve my new country in the United States Air Force 20 years retired..and I was nothing more than a punk off the street ....I was a proud punk..but that was all I knew.....but with the guidance of my wonderful step father ..thank God ..I was given an opportunity.....there is no privilege between the races.....it's opportunity..and the will to become an individual and listen to yourself and not those who would and want to bring you down.......
