The example this man set for his daughter is exceptional. Not only by being in the military, but being retired and still pursued a bachelors degree. This type of commitment is what starts generational excellence.
He is one amazing father. Bless his daughter for honoring her father, and for her choice to serve.

FATHERS ARE IMPORTANT
PARENTS ARE IMPORTANT
You couldnt have said this more importanly. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!
@Rose FabFour
Which came first, chicken or the egg?
yes but our children are more important
That about sums it up for a strong close family.
And all the ills of modern society can be traced to destroying the family
She is beautiful! And so is her fathers pride for her.
Very....
I am proud to have followed my Dad into the Air Force, he was a Staff Sergeant when I was born, my goal was to wear that same Rank. Effective 1 October 1981 I was promoted to Staff Sergeant!
Congratz man. :)
thats amazing really amazing..keep doing good God bless you
Which rank the daughter has?
@@upahtv 2nd lieutenant the lowest officer rank
for what its worth even if we not same country...i am proud of you and your dad to
I'm US Army Special Forces 10 years medevac veteran NCO. High point of my life was congratulating my oldest daughter when she became a LT Colonel in US Army Special Forces as a combat medic.
Thank you to you and your daughter for your service.
I am so proud of you both and I don’t even know you.👍🏻
Made me cry💪

Hello
You are sssso right! Godspeed!
E÷÷÷@
You can tell that the daughter adores her Dad and the father loves his daughter. What a tight knit family. Awesome!!!!
she's going to make a good Army Officer because she already understands the value of listening to NCO's and how they run the Army.
Tf I was just looking up diff types of salutes and now I'm crying???

Right 😭😭😭😭😭
Same here 😢
"go to your room"
"no, you go to YOUR room, that's an order"
"yes ma'am"
Hahahaha!!!! This PJ salutes your comment.
He has more medals...😂
Unfortunately, my wife and I were not blessed with kids. If we were, I would be so proud to have a daughter like her. God bless both of you for all you do! Cheers!
definitely a PROUD DAD,AND A PROUD DAUGHTER
What a gorgeous officer and an absolutely proud dad.
One lucky daughter, one proud father!
She chose the Military Police Field. (I am a retired SSG Military Policeman.) As a father I know how proud he is of you. May God bless you both with long life together.
she’s going to have a lot of problems with Army Engineers, because MP’s & Engineers do not get along very well
As a parent, this is the happiest you can feel. To witness the achievement of your child in person like this. Nothing comes close!
That's a young Lt that is going to go far in the Army. And that's one hell of a dad. He knows she sacrificed a lot as a kid during his career so he put her first when it was most important to her. You can see how happy they are too and you know he was as good a dad as he possibly could as a senior ARMY NCO.
This really warms my heart. As a dad of two sons who are presently in the military, US Marines and US Army. Now awaiting for my daughter to graduate and then go into the US Air Force. We Dads, always wants our children to do well or even have better opportunities than we had. Seems like yesterday, that I was a 17 year old military boy. Now age 57, a military dad and granddad. I hope I am around long enough to see one of my grand children do military too. So happy for this blessed moment for father and daughter, Congratulations from a military veteran, GOD speed to all of them who serve.
Wow.
This is amazing.
David, thank you for serving. What’s even more amazing your kids choosing to serve. It’s a testament to your raising amazing young adults who care. Thank you for this gift to our nation, few understand the importance and the sacrifice involved.
God bless you and your family.
Make sure your daughter isn't working flightline jobs or SECFO lol
That's very cute. Daughter continue her father's footsteps.
A touching and uplifting story. Thank you to both father and daughter for serving our country.
These are special times that seem to go unappreciated today. Heartfelt congratulations to all the parents of young men and women that have chosen to dedicate their lives to service to our country.
Real father there!
Pure father daughter Love!!! Both proud of each other.....that's what's life is all about!!
Thank you for your service Lieutenant.
I remember my first salute in the Air Force. It was my best friend, a Marine. I didn’t know he was going to be there. He flew from Afghanistan to Alabama just for the above reason. We hadn’t seen each other in a year and got two weeks together before he had to go back and I had my first duty assignment.
This dad clearly understands his assignment as a parent and this is why he got the great daughter he did. He pointedly says he's already lived his life and had his career but she's just getting started and it's not about him anymore because she needs the support more. This heart warming moment of father and daughter bonding even more as fellow soldiers was far more precious and touching than if he had chosen his own graduation ...which he knew it would be and is exactly why he chose it. Nice that they chose to call him out on his own achievement and honor him about how he sacrificed his own graduation to be there to honor his daughter with her first salute as an officer.
Any parent who raises up children who are willing to serve their country should be proud.
I have a son in the Marines and I'm the daughter and wife of veterans. I couldn't be more proud
That is beautiful! But she’s a higher rank than her dad; that’s amazing!
But that speaks nothing of experience.
@COUNTRYBOI I'm not mad, he's been in imma guess 15 years and she not commissioned (date of video) but when she is, her desicion rules. That's why junior officers are seen as confused or I guess stupid, they either Don t have a good NCO guiding them or they don't listen
And you are a feminist. Women should not be in the military.
That is disgusting that his daughter outranks him.
@@bobbyrobby3600 why?
How lovely it must be to see the child you raised become successful, and she tells people it's all because of you👏👏👏🥺🥺.. May God bless and protect this special strong father and daughter bond! Shout out to all the military families out there. We salute you!
I am crying like a baby. What a special moment between daughter and dad. Thank you both for your service!
What a sweet moment.
Sick moment
My mother grown up in the country side of a third-word country, her education is 5 years elementary school, she never have a chance to enter to the junior high school because the jr high school is in the city not in the country side where my mother lived. I sent her the picture of my graduation with the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer degree, for the whole year she shown my picture to everybody that she knew with tears in her eyes. I love you mum.
Thank you both for your service!! God bless you both.
Omg....awesome moment...whos cutting the onions?
chole4me1 😂
What a great moment for them and for the whole US, an honor to have such an amazing young lady defending our country.
Ordinary people becoming heroes, thank you both for choices you have made
The way she confidently smirks when her dad talks is goals respect
OUTSTANDING!!! Be as proud of yourself as your father is of you. You'll go a long way young lady. OOH RAH!.
As he shows here, Dad's will always be there, and always will put you 1st. Just like I tell my own kids , no matter how old you are you will always be my my kids and I will always be there for you. I love his line " I lived my life , this is about her " , we may not always show it but know we're not just Dad's sometimes, a real Dad will be you Dad forever !! ( Notice I didn't say father, there are many people filling the role of "Dad" for whatever reason and they deserve the same respect. )
Hello
As a dad, the best way to thank him is to do the same for any kids she has.
The bond between father and daughter is PRICELESS
That was a beautiful moment. Thank you for sharing.
I'm 60 years old, retired 1SG and here I am crying like a little dude
That is how you honour one Air Force member to another!! And they just happen to be daddy and Daughter!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Father is always a father!!! Salute to u sir!!!
Thanks to you and your service for us and our country
Well done !!!! You have an amazing dad !!! Congratulations !!!!! Thank you for your service !!!!!
Hooah from an old sailor (24 years in the Navy, two years in Viet-Nam, son in law a retired Master sergeant in the World’s Greatest Army). Watching this gave me goose bumps!
massive respect for you and your Son-in-Law
from another Retired Army Veteran
That's beautiful !!! Thank you both for your services to this country !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, you got me, that was beautiful. I served in the Navy in which my daughter was born. 20 years later she joined the Navy, I will ever be proud of her.
oh she's so gorgeous
That's what a Father's love is.
Let's just appreciate the amount of parents in uniform at this graduation. They really set themselves as true role models
When my son graduated flight training at Ft Rucker I pinned his wings on him in uniform! He had to salute me! Quite a moment! Outstanding video!
Her eyes are full of life. True beauty.
Two powerful emotions, love and pride, brought together in a single moment. Simply exquisite.
She got two heroes in one person as a father, and as a soldier who served many years for the country.
It brought me on tears. This is a beautiful moment. We salute them and thank them for their service. GOD bless our troops!
A dad will do anything for his daughter! I know I have a beautiful and wonderful daughter whom I am so proud of the great woman she has become!
Father made the right decision. Without question.
the tradition continues. these are "the best people."
I'm a Vietnam veteran and I have tears of Pride for these two great Americans 👍!
So lovely father and daughter connection ❤
Much love from Fiji. Being a soldier myself...you must be a proud parent sergeant
This made me cry. Excellent story the responsibility, sacrifice, and love and love for country. Very proud of both of you. Also very thankful for both of you and you are individual sacrifices so that my family can succeed and live in the freest Nation on Earth. My blessings to both of you and all your family.
Wow that was a tear jerker, thank you both for your service!
What awesome respect...both ways. God bless you both.
Wow, that is just cool. If I am not mistaken the young daughter as a commisioned off-r outranks her dad and the old man now has to salute her and address her with respect. You don't see this every day
I swear I'm not crying, there's something in my eye
😂
I still have the photo of the SFC who got my silver dollar. His son was commissioned with me: he stepped outside the building and waited to receive his son’s silver dollar. I exited first, so he got mine...then his son’s...then every other 2LT’s silver dollar. Smart NCO!
Those are the best ones. Those are the ones that will do WHATEVER it takes to see to the needs of the men in their commands and get them out of the situations the government puts them in
None questions This is the real love of Father & Daughter.
Now that's what I call a real dad 🫡
God danged dust in this house, make my eyes all watery......... I as a Veteran Salute you both and thank you for your past, present and future service.
Go service your queen, british butler
@@speedymarinecore2409 I assume that this is some sort of American humour that I have missed
This actually brought tears to my eyes.Congratulations to the daughter and father
I wish I had been the dad this man is.
What a tremendous tradition. Special people. Bless you every one.
This is great congrats on becoming a officer
She already had tears in her eyes! No sir, those are my teary eyes.
As an officer? Oof, his dad has to address her as “ma’am” lol.
American Metalhead And I’m sure he’s proud of that
LOL, he learned his lesson so when she showed interest in joining he ABSOLUTELY told her to become an officer.
Outlaws 4 Life I never said he wouldn’t be proud... of course he has to! Seeing his blood being on the top as a leader! There’s nothing goddamn better than that!
Frankie Bruan True Lol.
While whipping her ass to if she step out of line in the military she might be Commander but at home he's commander chief Admiral Colonel lieutenant General Brigadier Chief whatever you want to say he definitely rule that roost and she know better
may she have a long trouble free career.
Father like daughter.
Period.
Yep, I'm a 50 year old tough guy sitting here with tears in my eyes. I'm a veteran of Iraq and a die hard patriot! God bless this family. What an amazing and special moment for both.
Very moving story. She IS beautiful and I hope she carries the legacy.
Thank you both for your service.
Dad or no dad it's a salute from a noncom to an officer! Hey, wait a bit! There is more than that in that salute, there is abundance of love and appreciativeness and tears of happiness, both for dad and daughter.
Father and daughter graduation days
Congratulations to both of you
Seems like he was in Germany too during his military career, nice. He's wearing a "Schützenschnur" (Badge for weapons proficiency).
Thanks for the comfirme. I was about to ask if it was a Schützenschnur gold ;) Got one also from my stay in Delitsch...
It is a great achievement to be awarded the German Schützenschnur 1st Class Medal
Awwww......I'm so proud to be a american........I proud you serve our great country ..........amazing
Beautiful story! Proud of you guys because you’re a great example of a good family and a military family. I grew up military, and though I couldn’t join because of a physical disability, I’m still proud of those who continue the family tradition. ❤️
Made my eyes leak...proud father, proud daughter. To both of you, congratulations and Master Sergeant thank you a million times over for your distinguished service
He's a Sergeant First Class.
Omg she is so beautifulllllll
