This certainly got my parrot cheering, whooping and whistling!
It amazes me how the Scottish folk fiddlers all look classically trained, while Cape Breton fiddlers don't play anything like a classical violinist. Amazing what isolation will do.
Tonight I'm playing with Fiddlers and Bagpipe players in Hong Kong. I'm a guitarist and I just know I'm going to be so confused! But if it's anything like this I'll be super happy! Love Blazin' Fiddles!

My daughter is getting married next month and has asked me to play pipes. Have been looking at all the traditional marches. When I heard the Norwegian Waltz 21;36, I knew that was what I want to play for her. Anybody got the music ? I've got three weeks to get it right. Please help if you can. Mikey.
Could anybody help me figure out what the name of reel is they play after the Norwegian Waltz and Hornpipes? Such a good tune - I can’t stop tapping along!

Having played with quite a few, I can safely say that many don't have any classical training at all :P
Without listening to the whole concert (which I hope to be able to shortly) is there any way of finding out who were the personnel in this band?
