I loved this video. No chitchat, just straight to the point of what the video is about. One thing I want to correct that gets used on most bushcraft videos is the alleged fire "reflector". Dark-colored objects can not reflect heat or light but absorb it. Back in my boy scout days, we called it what it is, a windbreak. That is what keeps the heat in that area as the wind can not blow it away. I know that I am going to get some backlash from some folks who bought into the whole misconception. But truth is truth.
No lash, forward or back! I think that sounds correct, though the radiation would be mostly infrared, regardless... By putting it on the other side of the fire from you, it absorbs the IR that would have otherwise been lost and sends IR back your way... and keeps the wind from blowing your fire out... ;) The wolves were terrifying at 13:52. Is this in Canadia? I didn't notice a location...
I loved the wolves! We occasionally get a pack passing through our area en route to Canada, but alas they never stay here. Wolves tend not to disturb humans as long as we aren't threatening them; but I do always keep a close eye on my small dog whenever we're outside. And she's never out alone, because a wolf might grab a small pet, and also we have foxes and raptors around here all year, and owls who could easily mistake her for a rabbit (as you can see, she's tiny). But I do love falling asleep to the music of the wolves.

8bit brainz like a Boss 😂😂😂👍🏼
That was so satisfying and comforting to watch
🍃Nice craftsmanship, after you had build the frame, and used the spruce I was wondering how you were going to waterproof it. Then I saw the moss, what I call nature's rug. After your meal, and tucked in for the night, did anyone else hear the awesome howling sounds of wolves? In the, hopefully very far away distance. 🐺🐾
Thank you.
