Truly an odd looking lashup. I assume the trailing loco was just being dragged along, not contributing to the power. I wouldn’t think that the systems would be compatible with each other.
Recall my visits to Dorval back in the 1970s and '80s, at a time when CN was operating their turbo train from YUL to YYZ. CP was also operating "The Canadian" as well.
Thank you very much for that. Last time I was in Dorval was to photograph the disappearing LRC locos.

Don't think they normally do J trains out of Montreal. They are still testing those on the alexandria. I think they did one yesterday

@@100m.p.h. Today, a VIA f40 hauled 2 of the new VIA coaches to the NRC test center in Ottawa. There was a third car with something under wrap

Very cool! One of the light posts at the station has the word TURBO on it. It would be neat to have seen it in action.
