- In the absence of wizard Joe Peach some of our other team members have stepped up to provide some Grab Bag entertainment until he is able to return. While we cannot promise the regular schedule of previous releases we will do our best to post them regularly.
Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"!

Loved Big Boy (that voice!!!), the maneuverings at Wichita, the rainbow at Skykomish, and the Abbey Road take-off in Russellville. But what was with the chicken and the cow at La Plata? (That was an udderly awful pun btw.) Best wishes to Joe Peach and thank you guys!

I would like to say the traffic on the I-20/I-35W JCT at T-55 are railfans chasing the 4014, but I know better 😊

Auto train?
Besides when a hurricane passes, it runs every day. Look for "Autotrain" on Google. 2 locos is normal and behind +/- 16 coaches are +/- 30 (!) autoracks with the cars from the passengers. Passes the cams at Ashland too.

Why are the hoppers solar powered?
I do not know but I try: to power a unit that controls the valves 1, 2 3 to release the ballast on to the track? Maybe they can do that from a distance to save the forces for turning the wheels everytime?
