Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially the passenger cars in La Grange, Kentucky, Heritage Units and so much more, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.
They really need to fix the boarding situation at Ashland. Nothing there tells you which side your train will pull up on, and the trains will switch sides throughout the day. When I visited, they told me the only way to know was to wait for the train to be close and look down the tracks and see what side the headlight’s on. If a freight train is running, there’s nothing you can do but miss your train.
Love watching V R videos and im from England love ur American diesel locomotives! They're huge and a lot more interesting than our UK ones! Keep it up V R 🥰😍

It is an excavator on a chassis that allows it to "walk" across gondola cars. It is used to either set off ties or load ties from the gondola cars below.
Those handsome purple cars with the T on their sides are MBTA Commuter Rail cars being delivered for service on Greater Boston's extensive regional rail system.
In Ashland, don't they make announcements beforehand as to which track the train will be boarding on? I know at the mbta commuter rail stations, the message is usually posted if there's a change in track.
I've seen passenger trains with CSX livery in several recent grab bags. Is that operator looking to resume regularly scheduled passenger service or perhaps some type of premium cruise service?
For nearly 50 years old the Rock Island hoppers looked in remarkably good. Also a pink Klemme Co-Op hopper. Painted pink so yardmasters would hate to see them and get them out of their sight as soon as possible. Or on a more negative moment when the car got lost in a yard it was easier to find, In those days it was not unusual for enraged shippers to enter the yard to find "their" car and take the problem face to face with the yard master.
Yes. UP ripped up the tracks at the Klemme elevator in the mid 2000's in an attempt to make the line unprofitable North of Belmond to Forest City to abandon it.
Those new MBTA cars are coming North FROM assembly plant thru Ashland, VA TO Boston and there are numerous thru rail routes from the VA area to Boston, MA so all railroad transit for this equipment is not a problem.
They could have went to the left like most of the cars do. I live near a town that has tracks coming down the Main Street (West Brownsville) and trust me, with the headlight on and the enormous size of the engine, it can be seen from quite a distance.

Wow, allowing that situation to exist is the height of "I don't care about anyone or anything except me myself and I."
Yes...a footbridge or two between the two platforms would benefit the station greatly. Lotta stations in the UK have em. Why not here?
So the Amtrak app and train tracker does not indicate which track the train will be on?
That sounds an awful lot like a skill issue. Just plan ahead!
