@@ShadowLimited310 have a 2013 Elantra with 220k on it. Tranny is starting to act up a bit but it still runs and drives. Doesn’t burn oil all the interior functions still work great. All in all I’m happy with what’s it done for me over the last 10 years.
Hyundai overall is doing its thing as a brand. Combined with Genesis it’s hard to see people picking other manufacturers. I’m getting this N, I just want to see what the 24’ model will look like.

The amount of features you get on this car compared to every single other performance car in this price range is actually crazy, you get so much for what you pay.
I have a this car, 2014 except hatchback in soul red, higher trim with the infotainment (for which Mazda sells an adapter to add Apple CarPlay and Android auto). Engine is very smooth all the way to redline, the shifter is way more engaging than any other economy car, and the handling is awesome (you can actually get the tail out unlike any other FWD car I’ve driven). Driving this car at 10/10ths is great. The one they reviewed is the absolute base version which I’d never get, getting an infotainment system, backup camera, much lighter alloys, and soul red really transforms the car. The hatchback looks much better too imo but it costs more.
Really like this vehicle! HYUNDAI: please add your amazing smart cruise control to Elantra N for the U.S. market. For us who only have one vehicle-- the smart cruise with lane following assist will be really nice for freeway driving and stop and go traffic! Thanks!
Here’s how to end up with a California Police officer repossessing your car for having a feature that is engraved into it, legally preventing you from driving it unless it gets removed which is impossible because track mode is a factory feature. (Yes this actually happened, a guy’s Elantra N was taken away by a California police officer and he’s put into a loophole where the owner can’t get it back)
The Elantra N doesn’t have a specifically labeled ‘track mode’ but the N Mode it does have which allows for the pops and bangs is usually recommended to run it only on the track. Either way, doesn’t change the state ref and cop who pulled the kid over being in cahoots and testing the car in a mode it shouldn’t have been tested in with the intention to fail it for sound.
From having nothing but mustangs to a Hyundai, I’m quite impressed. Luxury feel and tech with sporty looks and acceleration. I absolutely love these new Hyundais
I test drove one yesterday out of curiosity. It was the automatic. Only 1 cat on the lot. Apparently they're hard to come by. But I was definitely impressed by the Elantra N. Quick peppy and nimble enough. I wouldn't mind this as my daily. Plenty of room in the back for my kiddos as well

Wish you did more of a review on the n line cause I love my 2020 Elantra sport it has everything that the n line has in it besides just the new display and lighting as they changed that in 2021 when they changed the name to N line instead of sport.
The mid-cycle refresh is coming and I heard there are some improvements happening to it that addresses many complaints people have with the first cycle and getting a new front fascia that lines up with the mid-cycle refresh Sonata/Sonata N-Line and redesign Kona.
These new cars look very German from the inside. That glowing N badge straight out off a BMW M, the ambient lighting and vents straight from A Merc. Love it
