  • @QuickManEXE
    @QuickManEXE Год назад +17

Story 1: Okay id be furious if you tried to rob me of 12 cents, much less 12K. The uncle, the 2 kids and the OP's mom should all be shamed in the town square, and disowned by the rest of the family. The uncle is clearly a mooch and leech. He seems to love borrowing money, but not paying back. Also, what kind of parent just straight up lets someone steal something from her own child, claiming "they need it". That's just disgusting. Glad that the OP's dad is helping with a new apartment here. If i were the OP, id disown all guilty parties here. I honestly can't believe they would try and blame the OP for anything here.
Story 2: After that one boss forced the OP to work after being assaulted, i would've walked out or sued... or both. That is just 100% unacceptable. Its always bad bosses that ruin it for pretty much everyone. I dont get why bosses will just work you into the ground, then get mad when you work OT. Thats just stupid. Hope the OP is doing better and hopefully this place shuts down because of how bad they treat people.
Story 3: This didnt seem like a good relationship here. Both the OP and the 'bf' are both in the wrong here. The OP's comments werent really necessary, and his equal reaction was the same. If you mesh well as friends, great.... but i dont think those 2 are meant for each other.
Story 4: That would be really irritating, especially if the OP is also on commission. If the OP was only on commission, i wouldn't be helping anyone like that, but if the OP was on hourly as well as commission... then keep talking, you paid to just stand there and talk. As for the 'You wont see me here again!" line, i can't see anyone at that place will miss that guy and all the money he doesn't spend.

Story 1: Is Op's mom related to this uncle, i.e is he her brother (not brother-in law)? Because if he's her brother in law, her husband's brother, then there may be some hidden relationship between the two of them because I just can not fathom how someone can be so entitled to give permission for anyone, let alone family, to rob their child. I mean what the actual hell was she thinking? Op could have reported that to the police in which case, OP's mom would have been a legal accomplice for the robbing and would have also had a legal punishment, not as severe I don't think but still bad. Also the type of trust between a parent and child is one you can't replace, but you can very easily lose and OP's mom most definitely lost some of that trust.

I consider myself lucky in a way, my own mother showed me that ya can't trust anybody, not even your closest blood relatives. Not only that, i was in and out of foster care among other things.
Thanks to my step dads influence, I'm quite a generous person to those I consider friends and family but thanks to my mother, if you fuck me off, I literally do not give a shit about you, I don't care about your sob stories, I don't care if you *really* need my help.
I guarantee, I wouldn't feel any guilt in these situations, I would laugh, grab my shit, and tell them to fuck off

Story 1: I think the extended family should return the jewelry

  • @zootopiawilson

The first story: I can relate. It's not as bad as the OPs, but no one likes to be robbed or have their stuff given away without permission.
I'm a comic book geek. I went to art school in the 80s in a different state. If you are around my age and like comics you may remember some of the trade paperbacks from the 70s. "Sons of Origins" , "Bring on the bad guys" , "the Origins of Marvel comics", etc. I had first issues of Luke Cage, Rom, Star Wars, and all that. I akso had this Flintstones light table thing. It was aliteral light table but made as a toy so you could trace premade pics of the cartoon characters. I had alight bulb moment during my freshman year that I could use that in my studies. (not to draw the flintstones, but in general). after all, I was going for Graphic Design. But when I came home for spring break I found that my grandmother had GIVEN MY STUFF AWAY to younger relatives. Notably, two younger cousins. I was pissed, but not "I'm going to explode" pissed. When my grandmother, who I loved dearly told me "It was just comic books and toys" I explained to her that they WERE MY THINGS. And the comic books? I paid for them MYSELF from money I earned delivering newspapers. I ended with asking how she would feel if she went away for awhile only to come back and find out that I'd given away things she owned. My grandmother was not a karen or an entitled person. She would do thing "for family" that I disagreed with, but she admitted that she should not have given my stuff away. So, there's no big heartburn there. But nowadays I won't let anyone touch my stuff. Whenever says "But its just *insert whatever it is* beware. I have a little action figure of Ultraman. It's just stuff. It's probably only worth a dollar. But it was given to me by guys I served with in Desert Storm. So it's not just stuff to me.

for the third story i feel like that the OP wasnt telling the whole story. i get bad vibes by them choosing and picking. i bet it wasnt JUST the trip. stuff before problably happened and hell problably more ON the trip. the way that woman acted seems like a manipulative pick and chose situation, the "little fights here and there" was her trying to get the guilt of "oh yeah i get mad over dumb things i dont explain and hes at the point where he hates my guts." off of her. The sign was the passive agressing its your phone do what you want is what made me thing that.

Story 2) No, the first red flag was being called in to work, over the weekend, when you were just out of the hospital. Then you just kept working and never took time to heal. You should have held your ground and said NO from the jump. I'm not sure but, you might have a labor law violation to report and/or sue over.

My daughter is an only child. She's always been very private so we wouldn't even enter her room unless she invited us in. We never allowed anyone into her personal space and if anyone did that to her I'd be kicking some ass. I wouldn't care about the girls property if they were hiding my kids stuff in there. Smh what am I missing here?

Ha, mom used to steal my toys and give them away. I'd hear her meet other parents and she'd say "My kids have a whole box of toys they never play with" and some of my stuff would be gone. The 3rd time I heard her say the usual, I said "I play with ALL my toys!!" And if a kid stole from me, she would feel bad for THEM because they were caught.

Now for story two. Who bought that stuff. You, your dad or your mom. If it is you or your dad then no reason to do it. But if your mom bought them, some things go down for that

S1. How old are you? And you have a lot more than 12000$ of stuff in your room?
What is the relationship between your mother and your uncle?
You should involve the law in this. Either your mother or/and some of this person will have some serious prison time (thief over 12000$). That will wake her up.
