iphone camera shaking/blurry and making noise - fix

- As a repairer this is a common issue and something that can be easily fixed. However the first thing is to make sure you go through a few standard steps as outlined in this video.
As stated this is not limited to a certain model however it first started to arise frequently with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ models
In 90% of situations it's a hardware issue and most users that mention this find it starts shaking uncontrollably or it tries to focus but will go in and out of focus quickly and never stay focused with a funny type noise.

when i’m using my phone (6s)like on insta and stuff i put on finger on the screen and it’s constantly shaking, like for example if i’m on insta, it makes my scroll up and down
Giving my 6s plus a good tap on the kitchen bench fixed the shaking on my phone. Thanks buddy :)

Why would the camera suddenly breakdown (become faulty) after having the phone for years and it working perfectly?? Wouldn't a software error be a more plausible cause??

It's exactly what happened to me with my iPhone 6s Plus. This is why I NEVER update because when it works well, I leave it this way.
My camera was doing perfect for photos and videos but right after I updated it from 10.4.2 to 14.4, it started to shake. I am pretty sure the mecanism didn't realise suddently "hey, I'm dirty". In my case, it is clearly software but obviously, "they" will never agree on that.
It works on OBS app but not on Apple photo app. Come on. Clearly software related... and by the way, if you put a little magnet on the screen right over the rear camera, you will be able to take pictures and videos. You can tape it there xD

I had the same problem at my iPhone 8. Put on my durable bumper-like spices case and hit the table with the side of the phone. A really hard and fast hit. And then I let it come back so the power absorb.
Everything ok since then. No shock - no sound and everything as before. Try it but with a case and controlled power at the hit

My back camera literally sounds like it’s bout to blow up... it scared me the first time I heard it.... and it still does every once in a while.

I happen to always carry a small neodymium magnet with me. Placed behind the camera on the screen stops the shaking.
I have the second problem with debris you mentioned with my HUAWEII.
Cleaning the camera helped a little bit. but still the camera is trying to focus and gives blurry video.
I have an 8 and this is happening but I have found when it is very important to take a photo, smacking it against my hand will stop it shaking. I know this is probably gonna end up breaking my phone but I need a new one anyway and it it actually stops working completely my mom will probably have to get me a new one

If you have a 6s plus, usually it’s because it is rusting inside, remember it is not water proof, so if you take it into the shower or anything.

I have had the iPhone 7 for over a year and I dropped it and after that the camera started rattling and it all went fuzzy and it made a horrible noise I tried cleaning it but it didn’t work so I guess I will have to get a new camera

Kinza Khan you can take a small piece of a powerful magnet an put it on the back of the phone by the camera and it usually stops the shaking

Tried everything in video. Super clean lens. Eventually one swift finger flick at the lens while facing the phone upwards (outside cam towards ceiling) remedied this issue. Thanks mate.

Had the same problem but mine pulsed like your heart. THE FIX is a small magnet glued to the rear of the phone near the camera ( it has a circle of magnets around the lens ) a small flat ( the smaller the better ) magnet glued near the lens and Voila fixed, don't take it to Apple they will try to install a new camera.

My iPhone 6s Plus had started doing a visible shaking when trying to focus on things. I mount my iPhone on my motorcycle, so it probably got dirty this way or being in my pocket. Cleaning the lens and light on the back of the phone did nothing. What did solve the issue was carefully and gently cleaning out the small hole between the lens and light with Kleenex and a toothpick.

Fizz a small magnet from a name tag, you can also use a refrigerator magnet as long as it is strong enough to make you camera stop shaking and then you take a picture with the magnet still on

I heard a bee sound and i thougt it was a bee but it wasn’t it was my phone
All those problem would have been gone if Apple included disabling OIS feature

A small magnet on the front of the phone, backside of the camera, stops the shakes.

If you mount your phone on any equipment that vibrates (motorcycle, powered Paramotor, etc) will break the hardware due to the vibrating. This happened to me. It was gradual but the vibration kills the camera.
