I'm glad that we are getting free stuff and that it doesn't take much to get it but as someone who isn't currently playing the sims much right now, the fact that I'm just opening my game to have my sims invite other sims over and watch tv and cook a meal seems so pointless lmao. Like I'm kinda surprised that they arent using more packs (if you have them) like they did for the last one. Like I have a Christmas tree that I could decorate? or presents to open? We arent even having a holiday dinner party or anything, we are just inviting sims over to dance?
The jacket isn’t even festive. Did we need 4 more wreaths? No. Do we need more Christmas trees? Or even just more colors for the existing interactive tree? Yes! Would I love yard inflatables? Yes! There are so many cool festive things they could’ve included and they wasted 4 slots for wreaths that we basically already have. Missed opportunities.
I like these events, esp the tv it’s not as annoying as the grim reaper ones but too many wreaths! Tbh if some one asks what colour the tree is then I’d think the colour, but we’ve got a white one 😂
The items look great but I still hate that they will be forever unobtainable to players who miss the event or new players who start playing after the event. The gaming consoles and the framed TV are my favourites. I am happy that despite the description the console allows more than two players. (I tested with 3 sims and city living installed) Thanks for pointing out that children also get something in CAS. The slippers will be perfect for them.
Ah this event... Idk I realy don't want to miss out on the free stuff, I mean, it's free stuff!!! But... I'm doing finals on college, I'm in no mood to play the game rn... But if I don't... I miss out on the free stuff... This is making me anxious Plus, I entirely agree with you when it comes to it looking a bit sloppy, I was listening to the video on my study break and listening to you going through the event makes me notice how the event is... Meh... Yk?
This reeks of "could have been an SDX drop". Like I just don't see the point of it as an "event". I am not playing winterfest through these task nor enjoying gameplay even tho it is "easy" tbh, I can just drop in to it but it just seems pointless. Honestly, right now I am building a general save file and so not spending much time in live mode during my Sims time and it's spring in my game...I am not changing the seasons to match "real time". I am honestly stopping to do these task by dropping into a random family when they pop up and thank god its fast and less interruptive than the Grim Event AND I feel like I could drop into any family in my rotation and "do them" (unlike the grim event which relied on you building up skills with a specific sim, and I just don't play that way....I don't have a Sim-Self or a main in-game OC). But it also feels so boring and not additive to my gameplay at all. There's an interruptive pointlessness to it different from the Grim event as if it's stealing my time away from save-file building when it could have been an SDX drop.
I'm traveling on holiday, which helps in a way. I can finish the entire thing in one single play. Waiting an entire week to do a 10min play action is so dumb and disappointing 😞

Do we really need 3 wreaths? Come on EA.

I honestly really enjoyed the Grim Reaper's event-though the ending was really dissapointing- but yikes this Cozy Celebrations one really sucks.
tnhey both suck, I hate both of them. Are you a Sherlock Holmes fan?
Reaper events were never ending💀

I am surprised for no gonk sweater. And yes they are everywhere in the US.
What kind of expansion pack do you want for sims 4?

it’s on for 24 more days! and honestly if you just wait for all the quests to be out you could probably run through it all in only an hour or so
What kind of stuff pack do you want for sims 4?
@@EnglishSimmer Oh... Really? Ok then, thank you!! That might be enough time... That must be the bright side of the way too easy tasks!!!
