You have such a specific way of creating Sims, like a signature face shape, and I adore it cos I can immediately tell that they're Bumpkin Sims ❤ This is gonna look lush when it's done, I can tell.
Felix inherited the property from a great uncle (or distant relative) and he moved there with Tina. They didn't have much money so they decided to build some of their own pieces of furniture. That was when Tina found out she was such a fabulous designer and Felix a skilled builder. When their friends came out for a visit, they were so delighted with the furniture that they started ordering pieces for their own homes. The rest is history 😉
As always, I will be championing a cat in this family. Purrrhaps it could be a stray cat or kitten that Dominic found on his gap year and fell in love with.
Love the Mill vibe, now mom is going to need a small room for her materials (have a wall of different colored curtains to look like a display of fabric choices) same with dad's wood working (a section of wall with different colored panels to look like wood choices), when they moved in they found 3 stray kittens at that edge of the woods that they adopted in, the litter box can b hid under the stairs in the hallway...... Anywho, just some ideas 😊, great work as always Adin 💕
i think a guestroom for grandparents or friends would be something this family has. gym stuff, the dad needs muscle strength for his work. maybe a cat (can you make it a calico please) that the kids got as x-mas present as teens.
I love a good mill house, Aden! Perhaps since the river is rather far away from the mill (and the water wheel) the story could be that generations ago, the Great Henford Flood caused the Bagley River to flood its banks, destroying the contents of the mill. The family moved the old structure stone by stone to higher ground and lovingly restored it as their forever home. ❤
I totally see a super nice interior design for this house. Like the ones you can find on Pinterest. Don’t know why but I feel like mom’s gotta like the Haussmann and/or Bauhaus design style. I mean… look at her outfit 😄

It seems odd to have a water wheel with no waterway on or off of the lot because there's nothing to show what would have powered the wheel. I feel like giving the build an old smoke stack would make more sense. Even if the chimney itself was pulled down during the renovation

Maybe with someone older, or maybe she’s gay, or maybe they like pineapple on their pizza, could be anything just as long as it’s a bit… idk, scandalous? (Maybe a female, older, professor who she met while she was at uni??? 👀)
I feel like Dominic is really into like mindfulness, yoga, meditation that sort of thing and probably has been making money to fund his travel by teaching yoga classes and posting mindfulness and meditation videos on RUclips alongside travel vlogs.
I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw the 4 of them I really thought you were gonna build a house for a couple of swingers😭😂 I thought oh okay that's a bit different but why not🤷♀️ Anyway, not swingers clearly. Gorgeous sims though, and I think this house is gonna turn out amazing!
I can see Dominic going down the Charity Organizer career, prepare during his gap year he saw folks struggling to make ends meet and it's left him a little disillusioned with wealth so he wants to use his position & privilege in life to help others
Storyline for Dominic: After a gap year; feeling the pressure to choose something as his parents urge him to start University, he hops into studying Communications, not sure where life is going to lead him. While studying he decides to continue working, his sociable nature leading him to working in restaurants and cafe’s as he tries to carve his own path away from his families business. Its while working he discovers a passion for cooking and baking which ultimately leads to him deciding to drop communications, and pursue his new found passion and take Culinary. While pursuing his new passion he begins scraping away every Simoleon he can from his job with his dream in mind: opening and running his own coffee shop.
I think that there should be a shock twist in the way in which this family has come across their wealth, perhaps they are cleaning money through their businesses, perhaps they are living a double life which only the highest of HOB are aware of… exporting and importing goods from a quiet village, in this case I find that the socialites of HOB have shares in or use them to gain for themselves… I wouldn’t double cross someone who has a ‘workshop’ in their basement
I feel like there was a third child that died somehow. And there should be three bedroom upstairs, one frozen in the moment of the lost child´s time. Each of the family members visit the room from time to time and share their moments with the misc. items left behind.....
I imagine them pair of them come from old money, both of them following in their parent's footsteps, the two knew of each other as they traveled in the same circles and they were introduced as Felix was looking for someone to help promote his newest design. The pair of them hit it off not only buisness wise but also relationship wise. Then when they married she kept her surname as it was tied to her buisnes even though his paretns thought she should take their surname Felix stood by his future wife. Which is why when their son said he didn't want to follow in the family tradition they respected him. Where as AnnaBeth shares her parent's artistic traites the family as a unit respects each others differences. I have afeeling that whilst at Uni Dominic experiments trying to figure himself out. I imagine him being a good listener, he dosen't judge but offers advice when he can and someone suggests he become a councilor as he's so good with people and listening and as a way to relax he's part of a comidy club he talks about life and what's going on in the world. Kind of older then his years.

Yes, you need seasons for snow. The only world with snowy areas without seasons, is mt. Komorebi from snowy escape.
