In my opinion: Poison is best for AoE farming, paired with Flash Wave, Arrow Vortex (with tornado) and Decisive Sniping (with Bombardment, making sure to line up multiple enemies - can also be used twice with Blitz). Thunderclouds is best for Bosses, especially paired with Fatal Sigma, making sure to utilize Deadly Marker to reduce Cooldowns. I don't use Poison/Thunderclouds in PvP arena as I swapped for Healing Touch for more survivability and healing lesser geared players - making sure to pair with Nature's Blessing / Flashwave. Zephyr's nock can be used all the time off cooldown. I also recommend using 2x Strafing > Zephyrs and then 1x Strafing > Zephyrs for maximung ST Damage. I use Shadow Strike > Ankle Strike > Brutal Incision if the enemy is below 30-40% HP, followed by Zephyrs Nock should usually kill them (unless they heal, of course). Some of these were covered in the video but i just wanted to add my opinion as ive played almost 600 hours on Longbow/Dag.
Your way of explaining things makes it very easy to grasp the tiny details here and there! Great content! I also like your choice of Arabic music in the background 😉
I have never understood why no one uses brutal arrow I put both specialization on my pvp and pve because it stack poison and thunderclouds and stacks gale
what about pairing shadow harvester mask and gloves and boots and then going phantom pants with phantom chest? was thinking about going harvester pants just to get 4 piece set. dont care for pvp
Big fan btw 🫡 Yeah you can stick with the gear set bonuses if you’re strictly focusing on PVE. The crit damage from shadow harvester and bonus damage from phantom will be a strong combo.
For newbie players I suggest go directly to shadow walker passive instead of assassin step, save you plenty of skill book. since assasin step only benefit you when you kill some mobs so its useless in boss fights. and shadow walker procs when you press Q if you use blade block. just use mana potions or some mana regen trait instead if you need mana.
Some criticism for your skill build choices: Ankle strike is a wasted skill slot in pve. Drop it. Phantom dance with aoe skill spec does great work in mobbing and can be a cloud stacker for single target setups, use it instead of ankle strike. If you're bossing, don't waste blitz reset on decisive sniping. Use it on your deadly marker so you can cap out your marks for CDR faster. Decisive sniping is a DPS loss. The dmg buff after its use is of more benefit than the skill itself. You should only be charging when waiting on CDs for your better dps skills. Please. Stop. Using. Tornado. In. P. V. E. The dmg is mediocre, it costs a shit ton of skill spec points, and it ruins the dps of your party. Using it with the intent to flash wave right after is such abysmal dps. Longbow dagger has better aoe options. Brutal arrow with both nodes is the perfect replacement for tornado. Use it. Cleaving moonlight is an excellent DPS skill for pve and plays into a horde stack well. It also stacks poison and thunderclouds in an aoe well. Poison build for mobbing. Thunderclouds for bossing.
Thanks for the detailed feedback, I'll definitely take a look at these skill choices and see what I can adjust in my build. I'm always looking for ways to improve!
you do know when gale hits 10 stacks it is consumed. so if you are trying to maximize dmg doing two strafe casts into zephyr into the last strafe is the highest single target dps.
I don't know what kind of Arena those are but in my pvp games they don't all stay in a group behind without trying to attack me. In mine they attack me and not the tank. and I don't have a team to protect me like in these videos. I think there is a lot of difference.

Great video, i've been looking to change from Staff/Longbow to Longbow/Dagger, so this will help a ton. Could you make a RUclips Short or a follow-up video going over the rotation for your PVE build?
Thanks for the video. On your single target build, any idea what you’re typically seeing for dmg numbers? I’ve having a hard time determining if I’m on the right track with my build/rotation.
The highest single amount I have hit for not including double damage from heavy attack chance is about 28K but I’ll hit like 18K x2 when I get lucky while using decisive sniping. It really all depends on how much skill damage boost you have on your accessories and what level your skills are.

You don’t need separate gear for PVE. You can use your PVP gear for PVE. Plus it’s better to invest in PVP because that’s where defensive traits really matter anyways. It’s too expensive and Tim consuming to have 2 separate fully traited builds but if you got the time and patience go for it. Otherwise, all you need to chance is your stats and skills for PVE vs PVP.
