Wäre es möglich das du auch einen Guide für ein PVP Setup mit SnS+GS machen könntest. Weil wie es aussieht braucht man ja bestimmt 2 komplette Rüstungssets. Hab daran gedacht erstmal ein PVP Engame Set zu machen und das auch für PVE zu nutzen, weil das Tanken und am leben bleiben ist nicht wirklich schwer in den Dungeons wenn das Grundverständnis vorhanden ist von den Mechaniken...

Hab sofort gemerkt dass du Deutsch bist ^^" bester Guide den man sich als Anfänger reinziehen kann nicht zu kompliziert troztdem Detailreich, kurz aber nicht so kurz dass schritte übersprungen werden. Alles super erklärt gerade für mich als Anfänger was MMOS angeht. hab auch mega rescourcen und Zeit verschwendet da ich ein Build nachgemacht von jemanden der angeblich nur Builds und gameplay klaut aber bin mir sicher. Mit dem guide hol ich dass schnell auf, Danke für den Mega guide :)

Great video! There's a lot of tank builds around, all of them a bit different. Wich it's a good thing, it shows how versatile is this game! This one so far is the one I liked the most, since I'm not that interested on pvp

I just want to add one thing to the tips - don't get discouraged. Especially on the EA servers there are a lot of people demanding you are a pro already. If you aren't 100% confident simply say so. It's pretty discouraging failing at simply dungeon mechanics (death abyss, riot squad captain or simply the arbiters for example) so a lot of more experienced players leave as soon as something goes wrong. Again don't get discouraged by that. Either create your own party or join an existing one with the fitting description (learning party, etc.) or join your guild party. Also maybe another tip that goes with @25:21 - even if your role is tank - you can still avoid damage like telegraphed aoes; etc.

For instance u sometimes say pop this skill because if u use this next skill the damage will be so much greater. I would really like to see this because its hard to know at first (yes I know I am just being lazy)
I’ve always struggled tanking in all the games I’ve tried and was thinking of trying again in T&L as tanking is a role I’ve always wanted to get good at , not least for the shorter dungeon queues 😅, so thanks for the video I’ll definitely give this build a try 😁

Very helpful video. Hadn’t considered the benefit of swapping skill loadouts or individual skills between trash and boss especially when trying many times against just the final boss while learning for the first time, I just had useless skills on my bar that were only there for trash
good guide bro.. I started with t&L for first time on global realese and didnt know what tank build to do, this looks like a good one for me, I hate to be able to time my buffs abilitys blabla for several reasons one of them is my potato PC and low fps , so banging my head on keyboard while doing my job somehow sounds good ! :D

You have some of the best T&L guides. I've been using a similar skill build to your recommended one but I've been using the charged versions of guillotine/deathblow. I do notice that I have to cancel them all the time so I think you might be right that the instant cast versions might be better at least as a tank.
yeah I tried out a lot there but its just not good in PVE :S I knew a lot of people are playing with this upgrade thats why I also mentioned it ^^ but thx for the nice words :)
Really a great and detailed guide. But I have to say, that the "usual" maxroll guide for S&S+GS is buy far tankier and easier to play and it is by far easier to do AoE damage. On the other hand single target damage is not great and mana consumption is super high. I'm almost always oom. Maybe this build gets easier with the right equipment. Currently I'm mostly blue lvl 9 and far from a really good equipment build. Additionally most of my skills are blue lvl 3-5. I'm almost 90h in now and have to do a whole lot more of farming I guess... :)
I agree with most of my Co-commentaries here. Very comprehensive build presentation and I especially like that you take your time to explain it patiently and in great detail. I'm not new to tanking, but this game currently has me feeling a bit overwhelmed with gear progression and build crafting. You've alleviated some of that tension. Besten Dank und gerne mehr!
Witty Strike is actually really useful, since it gives Stamina when specialized & can be used twice. It can make the difference in some fights where stamina is clutch.
I know it’s definitely a lot of work considering the quality of your video is substantially better than any other build video I’ve seen for this game but you should definitely do this with more builds! Most build videos are just people showing their skills and build but not explaining it as much as you. Also it’s nice to see what the skills do while you go over them!

Although i was wondering on how you are able to put so many points into your stats, as I've just recently hit lvl 50 and i can't get my STR stat to 50. I can see that it's due to gear. So a fresh lvl 50 with blue gear pieces, how should they proceed stat wise, in order to be able to tank properly?

The cloak "Ancient Tapestry" is good for PVP evasion builds. For this build you dont need that. You rather want to have the additional cooldown reduction and crit chance :)

in PVP yes maybe but in PVE? I never had stamina problems in dungeons to be honest

if you dont have skill conversion books I would rather create an alt :S at the beginning that will take some time otherwise

those you will get as soon as you are getting epic items. a lot of those epic items give a lot of base stats :) just put everything in stregth and dex

Great job bro!! Your explanations are awesome. Noob question, though: which weapon should I prioritize leveling and aquiring? I am twiking the build details a little bit to focus slightly more in self damage, but I'm not sure what purple weapon should I go after first, GS or SNS. Any thoughts?

Dang, u just broke my spirit. I went for SNS/WAND and its so lack luster. Ive watched so much vids. Any chance of you making an SNS/WANDA GUIDE? I understand the tanking part but the mana and stamina recovery is killing me
I dont like SNS/Wand in PVE. Only good if played with 5 DPS :S

Aber ich habe eine Frage, die du mir hoffentlich beantworten möchtest. Wenn ich noch kein Epic/Lila Gear habe wie sollten dann deiner Meinung nach die Stats (Stärke usw) aussehen wenn man noch keine Zusätze vom Gear hat? Alle reden immer über Best in Slot aber das Gear zum Weg dahin ist ja auch wichtig und begleitet einen ja ne Weile. Also Danke schonmal und du hast einen neuen Abonnenten ;)

@@grobs4678 Danke für die schnelle Antwort aber genau das meine ich, mit den 49 Punkten kommt man ja nicht auf die 50 Stärke. Oder mache ich da was falsch? 🤔

Any opinions on ascending slash! Love your videos I’d love to see your take on an off meta tank build like GS/Wand. There’s only one video on it from 8 months ago and I don’t think it even scratches the surface of that combos potential in PVE

Hey, loved the guide. Could you give a bit more details about the AOE build? I just hit level 50 and I'm wondering if doing the swap to the AOE build make sense... Like, do you always run AOE farming? When the area isn't ideal for AOE or our gear is too weak, what build do you recommend?
For open world you always take the aoe build... even if you just have 3-4 mobs it still deals quite a bit of damage
Thank you so much for making these kinds of guides! What are your thoughts on SnS/Wand? Can I combine the SnS skills on this video and the wand skills from your Bow/Wand healer build? I ask because it's hard to find a good healer atm.
Its jsut bad... Its ONLY good if you combine it with 5 DPS but even then a good heal and Tank will out perform it ^^

leveling is so fast it really doesnt matter... like even the aoe farm method can be used... just go for damage spells and you are going to be fine :)

Hi, first of all great video. May i ask why do u use this cloak instead of Ancient Tapestry?
The cloak "Ancient Tapestry" is good for PVP evasion builds. For this build you dont need that. You rather want to have the additional cooldown reduction and crit chance :)

Nice guide, thx for your work! got one question, is it a good idea to use purple gear that you get from main quest or for example from contracts coin shop as for now? and than swap for better options, or mb just w8 for a items that you mentioned in your guide?

One problem with this build, mana my guy. 🙌 Can fix it with a certain passive on the GS and my lord does it help.
you shouldnt have mana problems as long as you block all the fury attacks... the passive from SNS is better for mana
@grobs4678 idk if it is just a support issue or a skill issue. I normally perfectly block everything.
