I think you are talking about PVE correct? Its not as bad anymore. NCSOFT is trying to nerf xbow more and more in PVE and now its actually getting closer... so dont worry too much about it :)

the final stat distribution you see in the guide when I talk about the gear. for leveling always put so many points in wisdom till you dont have mana problems anymore. the rest really does not matter at the beginning. you can for free reskill your points so just try out and look what feels good for you. all attributes will gives your more damage and healing :)

So for shields, as I said, it is way too situational... wasting a slot on it is not necessary in my opinion. For AoE farming you can use it for setup but what I meant here with PVE was more dungeons in general. But you are right in some dungeons you may need the sleep, but that again is so situational. Translation already fixed. the current translation is correct :)

@@grobs4678 True, but when i was healer i did like to put it on the tank in CoD when the boss do the triple slash attack to help him mitigate the dmg early on. If the tank is geared, then i did not use that skill at all. As i said that skill in dgs will be useful in early game when ppls have low gear, but if i saw right on KR new players now getting full +6 green and full +6/9 blue gear on lvling up. So it wont be much issue, unless help out some squishy DD on DA boss spin phase. AOE solo farm sleep was good till skill specialization, after that is is just to hep with ur CDs if u are under geared but still wanna aoe farm. I did use sleep in DA a lot on the knights as a fail safe if tank failed to CC them. Good to see they fixed the translation, but that should also mean they changed it. I did follow some streamers and they mentioned that skill going to change a bit.

@@Klannahar yeah they did some small changes. I think it was mentioned in the description that your cooldowns are reduced more then from your party members... and now just everyone gets 0,5% CDR per hit (for bosses). but also not 100% sure anymore^^

@@grobs4678 So it was a bug fix, good to see and know. This game will be a whole new game when it land in global compare to what i use to play back then on KR :D

But as mentioned before, its just not necessary. Of course you can take all the shields and heals that are in the game but then you will deal 0 damage. and as mentioned in the guide your responsibility is not only to heal its also to deal damage. But make your own experience and if it is useful for your style of play, then of course take it!

T2 is so far in the future. Items will get buffed and nerfed ...it really makes no sense to do that now. I will do that when we are close to T2 :) and no I am not phandrel ^^

Both are really good. Before the skill specialization I preferred Bow/Wand, but now with the skill specialization I think both can be really fun. But just because of the deadly marker, bow will probably always be a little bit better... because the skill is just too broken in PVE.

yes I will do also other class guides :) The current plan is to do a Tank Guide (Greatsword/SNS) and then a DPS Guide (Staff/Bow). Thats just because I played those combinations a lot... So in the future I will for sure also do a Paladin guide but probably not in the near future :S

You have to click on them to select them. So you can always have one friendly and one enemy target selected. So for example a boss and the tank. should have mentioned this.... hope this helps :)

U can do ctrl+1/2/3/4 to selct the player and heal. U can customise this setting from ur charchter setting menu .Also for using buff skills on urself ,it is alt instead of ctrl.

depends on what you want to do solo :D if you want to do AOE farming then this weapon combo is for sure not the best but all the other solo content you can totally do with this build.

Just wanted to say that you are amazing at what you are doing!! This game seems complex and having the information you are providing is reeeally helpful. Explaining the reasons behind every choice really helps in understanding the game better and, even when the meta will change in the future and this build will be outdated, it makes me feel like with these information I can make my own choices on my future builds <3 loved this video in every aspect (it's clear, it's detailed, it's entertaining), thank you so much!

I am actually not sure... BUT I would think so because most of the stats in TL have diminishing returns... even spell damage boost has diminishing returns... hope that answer helps :)

@@grobs4678 Yeah, it has diminishing return. Found the formula, should be Heavy attack chance = (HA / ( HA + 1000)) * 100 %. So if you have 500 heavy atk stat, actual chance is 33%. Good until 400~ , above 500 you gain very few +%.

thanks mate. I am really not a xbow/dagger expert but the most important stats for dealing more damage are for sure Attack Speed and Heavy Attack Chance. If you are talking about base stats then you should focus on "dexterity". hope that helps :)

yes there are outfits you cant buy with lucent. but its just a small percentage. The currency for purchasing those skins is being gained by purchasing items in the special shop. But for the most part you can buy all skins with lucent :)

no. especially if you have no cooldown speed then the spell gets really good. because their are heavy diminishing returns on cooldown speed. so So the first 10% cooldown speed actually reduces your cooldowns by 10% but from 60 to 70% cooldown speed you might actually only reduces your cooldown by 2 more percent. I need to double check here the values but just keep that in mind. maybe I will do for that an other video in the future :) but i hope that helped.

@@grobs4678 Thanks. With my healer i aim for 38-45% cds range with perfect t2 equip, i could add 8% more with weapon mastery but doesn't look worth it. Maybe if u can do some tests in future it's always helpful to have a clear idea, still haven't played the game yet, only theorycrafting for now.

I know that a lot of people think that... but its just not true. If you compare it to bow/staff or bow/xbow its Not even close...

@@grobs4678 agree to disagree. Both longbow and dagger had pve boss damage buffed more than any other weapon. Its not as high damage as bow staff but its still S tier along side it. And xbow was nerfed significantly i wouldnt even bring it up alongside bow staff , as it drops at the bottom of a tier, maybe even b tier

there is only a small "sollant" listing fee and they take a cut from your sale. So its about 20% that you have to pay for taxes. One part goes to NCSOFT and the other part goes to the castle, that is fought for every 2 weeks. (castle siege)

Hmm, I see, but the problem with that would be that some people would farm 100 Dugeons a day.... if some people would just go for 5 dungeons a day they wouldnt be able to make any lucent... In the end that would just only benefit people who are able to no life the game :S

thats gear is out of dungeons :) but you wont be able to farm that on release ...will come out later with the introduction of T2 dungeons.

@@christianlaenger142 both can be really good in PVE and PVP. But in PVP both come with different strength in the lategame. If it comes to purely healing then bow is probably better. But in the next weeks will Break down both combos in detail :)

​@grobs4678 I will not be doing any pvp, only pve. Is staff/wand viable for healer instead of wand/staff? I keep hearing and seeing that dps at high levels is more important than a full healer? I have played healer in every mmorpg so far, but I would like a little more damage this time around. I have also seen people playing Staff/Bow but I have not idea how that would work.

@@christianlaenger142 when it comes to healing in TL in PVE you really need to understand that its different from other MMOs. Most damage is avoidable or blockable. So with the time you will heal less and less in groups because they understand how to avoid the damage. therefor having a lot of damage as a healer is really good. staff or bow are both good combinations for a healer. I will publish hopefully this weekend a complete healer guide for Bow/wand in PVE and PVP. willl most likely adress a lot of your questions :)
