The silver parts inside the watch are coated with the most precious of metals... Rhodium.
As for the price, its specs are like those of the Omega Planet Ocean, a watch that costs over 6x the price! Obviously a few corners had to be cut. Quite frankly, I think that cutting the corners with the bezel and bracelet make the most sense because you can always upgrade those later if you want to.
I own one of these and absolutely love it. It's my daiy wearer.
I just purchased this watch today.. They must have fixed the bezel issue because mine is very precise with no back, lateral or horizontal play... The watch is absolutely stunning and a real pleasure to wear.. It is definitely eye candy with a tool watch build quality... I am really happy with this watch and its quality which punches way above its price tag...... Since writing this review I had a failed bezel and had to return the watch to be exchanged for another of the same model.. Unfortunately the bezel failed on that one and I ended up taking a full refund from the AD.... I was very disappointed because I really liked the watch otherwise..
I've tried a couple since and they had no problem at all. Congrats it's a beautiful watch.

I have the Seastar 2000 and I love it. The accuracy is very good. The bezel is a bit too easy to move and a little sloppy. The bracelet could stand to be a bit heftier, but it is not bad. It is a daily wear for me.

I own this watch with a rubber band, i have nothing but positive things to say after a year of wearing it.
Reading comments before I write mine and I'm glad to see not everyone experiencing same quality concerns. I have heard similar complaints elsewhere. Tissot, such a historic brand, wish they could tighten up.

I have the same watch and it does not have the same issues shown in this video. Its fantastic value for money.

I have that exact watch and I love it.. it’s a decent size and has a bit of weight to it but I love it.. now I’m laughing because I write this just before you started to review it… almost word for word you covered my exact thoughts.. 🤣🤣🤣👍 I love the Color gradient and another awesome review 👌 I don’t have the issue with the bezel but the bracelet is a little wobbly. It’s a $1,700 watch here in Australia 🇦🇺

I had almost sold myself Mido Ocean Star, either the 600, or a titanium 200c. This really seems to be a contender though, I agree with the excessive lettering, and would be fussy if the bracelet was sloppy. An excellent review, many thanks. 👏👍

An alternative that I would (well I did) buy instead would be the Certina DS Action Diver 43. Higher quality overall with the better version of the Powermatic 80.

I love mine. Have 2 other Seastar 1000's. One green one blue. 5 Tissot watches in all. Rarely wear my Omega or the Hamilton.

Have 10. 5 Tissot automatics. One Omega and one Hamilton. Am anniversary FedEx Freight watch and no collection is complete without a Casio Eddiface and a Timex Indiglo

I own this watch. Bezel action is perfect and the bracelet is very good for the price, if the clasp was better it would be on a very close par with my planet Ocean.

I've heard the same from a couple people now, one a family member of mine that owns this watch. Not sure how common it is but I think it might have been a qc issue on mine.
Is this the model that has the greenish blue dial?
If you like the Omega Seamaster you will like this watch cheaper too good value for money.
Thanks for the stellar review! Do you know if the 2000 bracelet will fit the 1000? I have a seastar 1000 on rubber it's super comfortable and it would be nice to swap it out for a steel one on occasion. The bracelet on your reviewed model is of a better quality than the original 1000 bracelet. Thanks
Not 100% sure on that unfortunately. It is a nice bracelet though if it could work.

I have a question.. this is the turquoise dial , right ? The color of superluminova is that light blue . Is there any difference in the color for luminova in dark blue dial model .. some photos i see that the green model comes with green light in the night .. seems like not true

Man that’s a huge watch even on your wrist! I own the Tissot 1000 and it has the same bracelet but much better bezel. That bezel on the 2000 is embarrassing considering the price.
I'd 100% go for your 1000 over this one I think. I've gotten hands on with a couple of them and the bezel was much better. Thanks!

I was about to buy the watch but i didnt like the bezel action. For its price, youd expect top level craftsmanship.
I just bought one. My bezel has none of that play. Mine has the silicone strap. Wonerful watch. Mine is the 200 at 46 mm.

It's the teal. The blue is a little darker than this in person.
The dial looks great but agree the text is too much, probably should have made it shorter and kept to two lines. Like the quick release bracelet too. The finish does look good too, shame about the bezel though. Nice job Bob
