Lovely tour Father ! You forgot to mention St Joseph in the garden: Earthly Father of Jesus, Head of the Holy Family and the silent head of Every Family Patron of the Universal Church, Patron of Workers, Patron of a Happy Death.... And the Silent Saint
Oh! maybe St. Joseph told father not to mention about him! How humble St. Joseph is. He only likes to work silently and to help the seminarians always - without them noticing Him !❤❤❤
Incredibly beautiful for our Seminarians. Very kind that you shared this with everyone. “Think of Mary ~ Invoke in Mary”. God bless you all, you’re in my Adoration prayers especially another hour just for you. 🙏
What a beautiful facility. Thank you for your hospitality in showing it to us. God bless you Father. God bless all that work, study, worship and live here.
This reminds me of my last two years of formation in my previous stage of initial forms with the Salesians! This places are unique in the formation for a young man and how much you feel at home in such houses of formation
Is this seminary the postulants, novitiate or scholastic? What ever happened to Oblate College in DC, I did. I did my philosophy there, great school and the Oblates were great teachers {not as great as the Dominicans 😊}. We were so lucky to get this bishop visiting from Alaska who was visiting his con friars and he gave us. Day of recollection. This great man was the Great George OMI who later moved o to get a red hat for Chicago.
Young people refuse to enter a church once they leave the family nest. Not one young person in my large, Catholic, Italian family goes to church. We are entering a new age!!! God loves us as a Father and we don't need to earn that love. Catholicism is all about earning God's love, earning heaven, and Catholics park themselves in a pew every Sunday and watch ceremony! Jesus was not about watching, but doing!!! In the Catholic Church of the future, there will more involvement with soup kitchens, etc. The day of the pontifical priest is over!
