God could use the algorithm if He wants to. He works in mysterious ways! I'm finishing my last semester of seminary in Rome and I wouldn't trade this life experience and vocation for anything.
The same thing happened to me, and is still - I’m currently in the application process to enter seminary next fall! These kinds of prompts can be one indicator that you should explore the possibility that you might be called to the priesthood more deliberately.
Yes I also feel that way. He is such a good and holy Christian…. And an admirable Catholic Priest. I wish to kiss his hand in reverence. Thank you to Our Blessed Lord for granting his vocation.
I am leaving Protestantism and migrating to the Catholic Church. Since I converted in 2020, I have felt the desire to be Catholic, but I resisted and even became anti-Catholic. But now it's different, I'll go all the way, because I've learned that the Church has always been Catholic. And I intend to be a priest, with God's permission.
Alleluia...may God bless youbon your journey of humble and courageous discernment. I love that Catholic means universal and Christ founded a universal church.
If I wasn’t lds, a father, or married, I would have seen myself becoming a priest. I loved my two year mission devoting everything to serving & serving GOD. I have the utmost respect & praise to priests of the Roman Catholic Church. Their commitment & devotion to God never ceases to amaze me.
He is a modern priest in a modern life. I salute and respect him. I hope he never wavers with worldly influences and remains faithful to God and the ministry of the people. God bless you father.
Pray for Holy Priests not Traditional Priests. That would cover all Priests in the Catholic Church! We are to live in unity not split the Church by Traditional/ NO.
I pray daily for priests- a rosary for priests!!! If you are not praying for priests, do start. Thank you dear Father for your faithful service. God bless.
Thank you for posting this beautiful video. I am a cradle catholic but I never got confirmed mostly due to terrible mistakes I have made in the barely 25 years I've been alive. Please pray for me, my name is Daniel. God bless you.
Thank you! That was so beautiful! It's so wonderful to see this kind of witness and it's just such a beautiful life❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you for choosing your vocation God bless you!!!!!!!
It's no coincidence that this video is suggested to me and ends with Simeon's words as I watch on Christmas night!!! God is amazing!!! Blessings to you all from a Protestant daughter of a dad who was raised Catholic and no doubt heard many of the readings from this video daily in Catholic school through the sixth grade. What a heritage of faith my grandparents instilled in him. Although he is a Protestant and has been for the a long time since he married my mom 40 years ago this coming March, he still considers himself eternally linked to his Catholic roots. I love Catholicism!!! Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you all!
I sincerely want to thank all of our priests for helping the Faithful get closer to God. You all bring unique talents and interests to the table and glorify God.
I met Fr. Heisler recently when he celebrated the wedding mass of some friends of mine. I Got to have a great conversation with him. He's a wonderful man and priest.
God bless you Father! This was a fascinating video of a day in your life as a priest. I loved watching you progress through your day. Thank you for your devotion to our Savior Jesus Christ! Please pray for my parish - Sacred Heart Church in Whiting, Indiana as our parish is under consideration for closure by the Diocese of Gary. Sacred Heart is a strong and faithful community of people who genuinely care about Jesus and about one another. Please pray also for our pastor Father Jay and for priest in residence Father Raj. Thank you and may God bless you!
I myself am not religious as I had a bad experience with it when I was younger. However this video was truly enlightening as well as entertaining. Keep up the good work Father! It somehow put a smile on my face!
I loved this, I would love more versions of this video. Maybe focusing on different aspects of the day or week I loved seeing the prayer life aspects. Great work!
So well done. God bless you, Fathers, and thank you for your generous response to your vocation. God gives me hope for the Western Church through you. That ending sequence built on the Canticle of Simeon was tear-jerking. Praised be Jesus Christ.
Thank you for sharing...this was very nice to see. There is a great episode of the old show MASH and it is about the priest not feeling helpful but he learns just being a man of God helps everyone....M*A*S*H: Season 7, Episode 15 Kind regards, Michael from Georgetown Prep
I am prepping for Anglican ordination into priesthood and hugely admire my Roman Catholic brothers and sisters. God bless you Father and your holy ministry.
Sorry to bust your bubble, but there is unfortunately no apostolic succession for Anglicans anymore. The Sacrament of Holy Orders has therefore no reality in the Church of England, and as rough as it may sound, any person "ordained" there is just a man (or woman...) disguised as a priest. "To be knee-deep in History is to cease to be a Protestant" - St. John Henry Newman
10:32 pretty cool to see him sit in one of the actual pews. Never seen a Priest do that before. Just another reminder that they are just as human as us
Father, thank you for this beautiful video. Our world needs to see and to hear more about being instruments of God's love, justice, and mercy. God bless you, Robert.
Som’t know how I got here, but this greatly helped me remember even the “frontline” Brothers ministering to us at mass, confession and other sacramental duties are people too. I know that sounds insulting, but I mean in the sense of, not praying from morning to evening, but living life as a devotional prayer of thanksgiving to God. I’ve lost confidence in prayers with constant anxiety of losing the discipline from my zealous stint, but I feel more at peace knowing whatever vocation, whoever I meet or whatever I do, I can always find peace in Christ.
It gets to me every time how united we Catholics are all over the world. If we are in Arlington like you of in Haarlem The Netherlands like me. I just see that we do things the same way, from New Zealand to Hawaï as Catholics and it touches me on an emotional level. 🙏❤🙏
I never really knew what the daily life of a priest was. I was baptized Catholic then became an altar boy through 8th grade. I became a "born-again" Christian later around age 22 thus started going to a Protestant Baptist Church and taking on leading the worship music. After 12 years of attending that amazing church, my pastor and his wife died of cancer. I have not returned to a church for over a decade but miss it. I also miss the mystery and beauty of the Catholic mass. I have no idea what I am anymore. Anyways, that priest looks so young like age 20.
@@HenryGuessed-g3edoes that mean we cannot call our dad “father”? No, its meaning when applied to God, for there would no longer be any earthly counterpart for the analogy of divine Fatherhood. The concept of God’s role as Father would be meaningless if we obliterated the concept of earthly fatherhood.
13:44 I have no idea when "RCIA" changed to "OCIA." When did that happen? As a cradle Catholic, I shouldn't HAVE to know this but for the sake of evangelizing, I should know this info so that I can let non-Catholics know. And for what does the O stand? I have no idea. And is "RCIA" still used at some parishes?
O for Order. In 2021, US bishops' voted in favor of a name that better reflects the Latin term for the whole process, but I don't know of there were other considerations or even changes to the process itself. Most laypeople still call it RCIA, unless they were involved in the program themselves
Glad to see some young Priests. I sense in my spirit a RENEWAL OF THE CHURCH. Father,I pray for your ministry and how you show GODS LOVE TO YOUR FLOCK. I wanted to become a priest but fell in love with my wife. Eventually felt the call to become a REALTOR. Currently, 74 years old in good health. God has blessed me with a good life. I am extremely grateful he walks by my side. He is the single footprint in the sand. When trouble comes, he carries me. Was raised in the Catholic faith, very thankful for the Dominican Sisters who taught me and Fathers that heard my confessions through the years. I was an alter boy and sang many years on the church choir. I love the Dominican Order. The nuns were fantastic and firm when they had too to keep us focused as kids.GOD BLESS YOU FATHER AND YOUR DEDICATION TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. If you get the time, please pray for me, my son and my wife . My name is Charles. My son is searching, he needs to have that relationship with Jesus. Pray, he will have an encounter with Jesus. I know that GOD will do his part. Again, praying for your ministry. You’re wonderful with the kids. Actually, I remember those days. It’s encouraging to see some young blood in the church.
as a 40 yr old incel i sometimes think whilst in my deepest catatonic depression that maybe i was meant to be a celibate priest, if i could go back in time, women hate me, girls dont want anything to do with me despite the fact i own my own place i have a decent job im financially responsible, but its obviously not enough for any woman to even consider going on ONE measley date with me, i probably would have very seriously considered becoming a priest if i had know how my life would have panned out 25 yrs ago and if i wased an athiest who believes in evolution

I don't know how the algorithm picked up on it, but I've been getting tons of day in the life for seminarians and priests.
Pray about it. God speaks through all things
I’m a seminarian in Australia and the same thing happened to me as well.

As a girl who is discerning religious life and still in cathecism, this video made me so happy! God bless you Father😊😊❤
I will pray for you. 🙏💜 Remember what Pope St. John Paul II said, "Be not Afraid."
@OldSoul513 Thank you so much for this🥹🙏
@@Israella_ you are welcome. I'm not a religious but am a member of the Order of Virgins. It's been 7 years since I was Consecrated.

Simply, beautiful. Thanks for sharing. God may bless the Diocese of Arlington.
I am a protostant and I want to thank you for your work in the name of Jesus Christ amen!
A very good video. One that will inspire those who wish to know what it's like to be a priest before embarking on this journey.
In mass yesterday, the priest asked to pray for vocations. Pray for more priests and sisters.

It’s never too late to get Confirmation! You’ll be in my prayers. ❤
Father Heisler is a remarkable priest. Such a tremendous representative of the Catholic Church in 2024.
Alcoholic pedophile disguised as a man of grace
raping little boys all over the place.
Nice role model ya got there.

Wonderful video Father. I grew up at St James but now in Tennessee. A most beautiful church, and the resident priests are fantastic.
Well done! Great job, Father. I hope they will feature other priests too.
Beautiful and well made. Let’s share this as much as we can
