Thank you so much for the info bro I will be locating this amp asap
Damn bro, you legit have a video for everything I’ve needed to plan out my system…
This has been the only channel I’ve needed. Hands down Best fkn car audio channel on this platform for us Toyota owners.
Hi. There is 1 pair of output, 1 ch A, 1 ch B. May I know which is connected to subwoofer, front speaker and coaxial speaker? Thank you.
Hi. Can u show what is the best setting for this amplifier? I brought one but have difficulty to find online what is the best recommended set up for this amplifier for 4 channel
Have a quick question I was thinking of installing 3 ds18 6x9 z9’s 550 watts rms it’s like 275 you think this would push them without them overheating I have a Brutus 1600 watts 4 channels for my doors speakers my door speakers are 450 watts rms like 225 sometimes it makes my amp overheat if I play it full power for about 45 minutes to an hour idk what you think man ?
Para conectar los speakers puedo usar 16gauge
do you ever upload the video installing the amp? Asking because I can't find the video anywhere
I just purchased the TSA series 6.5s 3 ways 90 watt rms and the 6x9s 4ways 120 watt rms, can I run this amp or would you suggest a different amp? I'm trying to keep the components the same company wise.
Yep, run at 4 ohms, should be a great amplifier for your setup.
Hi, I just bought this amp and I have two (JLC1650X) C1 Series 6.5" Coaxial Speakers in the front doors, I want to get some good midrange speakers for the rear of my truck, what would you suggest for this pioneer amplifier? Thank you.

Hi! Great desciption/unboxing! What is (are) the differences between this amp (GM-D8704) and the GM-DX874? I have a 2011 Dodge Ram crewcab with aftermarket Kenwood am/fm/cd player; front door speakers are Morel Tempo Ultra 502's + Kicker 20cs6934's in rear doors....all powered by Hertz HCP4 amp AND 2 x JL Audio 10Wv3-4 subs powered by JBL GTX500 amp.....I have been advised both the Morels and Kickers are underpowered by the Hertz amp and wonder what ur thoughts are on either the GM-8704 or the GM-DX874 as an upgrade? Thanks for any info! Look forward to many more videos and reviews!
The GM-DX874 is the special / limited edition version of the amp shown in the video. Few small differences, such as gold-plated terminals, high-res audio rating, etc. Overall same specs for power and same footprint.
@@ProvoBeastAudio Thanks. So in terms of sound quality for a non-audiophile would be ? I have seen as much as a $70 difference in price so just wondering if it is worth it based on my current truck stereo set up?
Very helpful video but I have one big concern before buying one if you could please reach back out please..
So im looking this amp up on pioneer official website
And the newest version is the GM-DX874(if im correct) thing is the newer one is alot cheaper at walmart. My point is that Ibwant the same specs are the one you got in the video...what u think bro???
The GM-Dx874 is the special edition version of this amplifier (same generation), and only sold through authorized dealers (like crutchfield). Has additional features like gold-plated RCA connections and Hi-Res Certified over the GM-D8704
@@ProvoBeastAudio so its actually better😯, im sold, thanks man
Question. I have four speakers 100 RMS each would this be too much for them?
🔥🔥🔥💯💪👍👍👍
Does it come with a bass knob? 🤔
yes
Mine dont have it ,either the input
Can I connect a 1600wat pioneer sub to it?
RMS and PEAK power ratings are VERY different. If you are only adding a sub, then do the mono amp version as this amplifier is designed to power interior speakers, not necessarily primarily a sub.
Why does it go in protection mode
Either bad electrical, bad connections with your power / ground, wrong gauge wire, or a short in the speaker wire.
It's only on certain songs. it goes in and out of protect but its good when I lower my bass knob and my sub amp doesn't go in protect
Definitely bad electrical check all of your connections
@@BigMerc91CMDNJ they are good when I set my gain to h it goes in and out of protect
@@Bighotwheelhunter Gain isn't a volume knob. sounds like amp settings are way off and electrical is your issue.
Its has the quality to run 2 subwoofers of 1500watts
Go with a mono amp not a 4 channel to power your subwoofers.
