I was introduce to FFD while living in Wellington, New Zealand back in 2007. I moved back to North America well over a decade ago but I still pull out this album from time to time to remind me of my amazing time in Aotearoa. When I listen to this I feel like I'm still there.

Running out of fuel and stranding in a lovely pub on the South Island, we where invitd to stay at a most beautiful place 10 kilometres away in the bush.
After another drink and some "green tobacco" I was more than delighted to wake up with this song....and a nice cup of coffee.

Favourite Kiwi band of my lifetime. Rad band to see live! Good tunes, good vibes, good times. Been to all they Melbourne shows for the past 7years. They tunes, gigs and albums never disappoint.

there is so much nostalgia behind this for me, cause as a kid my family would play fat freddy's drop all the time. now at 16 i can really appreciate the instrumentation and sound of it, cause hawaiian reggae is sooooo different. ffd forever!

This amazing song comes on, it's a few minutes before midnight, nobody's out on the street but me and Roscoe... I'm gonna tell you, I had to stop walking, cause I was dancing through the rest of this song. So glad I finally found this band...i hope you all take a trip to Texas soon, so I can hear you live. What an amazing group.

This reminded me of Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder in parts, so I stuck Master Blaster on and it’s in exactly the same key, but just slightly slower in tempo and frhythm. Stevie Wonder is blind and this song is called Wandering Eye. So “eye wander” if “Wonder” was his inspiration? 👁️😎🤔
