great song and great playing....you've got it down. The sound is just perfect. (saw them 14 times and a the last one, I was dead center, against the stage and Mick and Keith were five to ten feet away....I watched this with Mick Taylor to my left maybe 12 feet. It was exciting. and I was in the Air Force. lucky me.

To the opinion of everybody get yer ya yas out is the best stone live album. The 1966 got live if you want it is second.
It's amazing to hear two rhythm guitars going at the same time and nothing else. Damn !!! Mick and Keith's work together is the most incredible thing the Stones ever did . It's unbelievable, how, if you dont watch and just listen, it sounds like it's all just one guitar playing.

I don’t think there was ever a better rhythm & lead guitar duo anywhere near as good as these two; on their 1st tour together, months after replacing Brian Jones. The Stones live perfectionism was due to Mr. Taylor joining forces w/Keef. Again; you’re a great guitarist; hope you enjoy playing anywhere near we enjoy it!

my god ive been waiting for this video for years. thank you so much for sharing. it would mean the world to every rolling stones fan for someone with your skill set to double track cover some of the songs from the brussels affair album from 1973. the tracks on that album are the best the stones ever did. that version of midnight rambler is just so bloody savage. i cant wait for your next upload!

Whoo Hoo! Damn that is great guitar playing. The interplay between Keith’s rhythm work and Mick Taylor’s leads is 100% pure rock and roll heaven for me. There might be technically more proficient musicians but they will never emote the raw emotion that these two guitarists gave us when they were at their prime together!

A real tribute to you three, Mr B. I agree with everybody dashing that the album is unsurpassed. I’m 72, was at a like rendition in Charlotte in 1972. ‘still can’t believe I was there. I’m finally able to play Mick T’s slide solos from Love in Vain (only because of the pace). But, still….

What a brilliant live version this is. Both Richards and Taylor were so attuned to eachother. I think it wad recorded at Madison Square Garden at the end of their tour. So it makes sense.

Very cool. Ya Yas was my first album. Had the pleasure of seeing Taylor and Richards do this at the 50th anniversary tour in 2012.

Agree. Great to see Taylor play again with the band. I don’t know about others, but the band lost a lot of its complexity and greatness when Taylor left the band. Just not the same band with Wood - much more pedestrian…

Mick Taylors lead always captivated me. I realized it sounds like the voicings of the Ramblers thoughts. His tone is anguished, and insecure, but it picks up steam and energy to complete his deed.
It starts out questioning and probing, like
"so here I am
"whatll I do
should I do this"
Then it resolves into "im gonna do this" before some slash-fest.

Outstanding work ! The guitar plays as at 6’50´´ is pure magic. Only one remark: on your rendition the Taylor part is louder than the Richards’ one, that should be the opposite way. But i can understand your purely blues option. Thanks a lot for these moments, this song always being the turning point at each Stones concert. 🫶

Realised why this is best version and why this sounds harder/rockier than other live versions that others say is better, but isn't: more guitar, no piano!
