- A Reddit viewer asked about the mist coolant system he saw in the Aluminium-Specific Insert Tooling video, so here's a quick video on how that system works and what it does.

You can also rotate the black knob to adjust the air/coolant mixture without touching the tip.
That knob controls the air pressure, where the tip controls the fluid flow.
You can influence the amount of spray using the air pressure knob, but I find that changes how forcefully it moves chips around. I prefer to set the air pressure so I can remove chips without blasting them across the shop, and then tune coolant flow with the tip.
Great job. I will used mist cooling for my cnc machine. 👍
I kept fast forwarding to see it in action but ,still searching for a good mister.

@@kashifshamu you should link a video of your product se we can check it out. I'd be interested to see it.
Where can I buy one
You never used product
What are the air requirements for a system like this? CFM? Can it be done with a small/shop tank style compressor?
You can vary air flow quite a bit. I couldn’t find a reference number online (Noga doesn’t publish the air consumption spec) but 2 CFM seems reasonable as a wild-ass guess.
@@FNR Ok cool, thanks. Yeah, that sounds pretty reasonable in my head as well. Thanks again!
How do you clean it after use? With thinner?
Pavel Celis No. Never clean it. No need. Misters last a long time. Dirt can get into the lines.
