I was totally thinking this! In the DB Super manga, Piccolo says he’s not Namekian, but the reincarnation of the Demon King Piccolo, plus later on Vegeta brings up the possibility of spirit fission being able to separate Piccolo from the other Namekian’s he fused with. With Daima involving a power grab for the demon king throne, I can totally see some new villain deciding to use fission to create a new Piccolo Daimao as a sort of puppet ruler or personal Dragon. We could possibly get some new lore on the old DKP and if it turns out that he ever had a connection to the demon realm at some point (which would explain some of his weirder powers in OG Dragonball)
@Martiangrl86 that would definitely makes sense. Like as powerful as demon king piccolo was, he wouldn't have been able to conquer earth alone. And giving birth to mutated namekians seemed to take a lot out of him, so it would make sense if he had some connections to the demon realm.

Kid buu has always been one of my favorite villains. I'm glad akira toriyama ideas were respected when he was here and i think he has always secretly liked kid buu which is why we have uub.
Daima (depending on how it's written) translates to "great evil" so it's not really surprising that the story involves the Demon Realm. And you should already know that, even if that little Zen-Oh looking character is the main villain, he's going to have one or more transformations so his final form will look a lot more cooler or menacing in the end.

The makaioshin thing is pretty interesting, they're kaoishin born in the demon realm. A realm similar to the one the story takes place in, it's not hell. So it makes me wonder, is Uub a kaioshin born on earth? He does have the hairstyle. And in the super manga we get shown that even as a kid his ki is insane and to quote the wiki he has "latent god ki".
Maybe it's already confirmed tho based on the wiki where they say "and instructs the young boy to extend his hand and give his energy to Goku since he's the reincarnation of Kid Buu and held the Grand Supreme Kai's Godly power".
The reason his hair resembles theirs might be because of the godly (kai) power then (like a gene passed on through lineage that makes kaioshin have this hairstyle), so maybe it's a pseudo-kaioshin.
It would be interesting if in Daima they explore the Makaioshin and explain how it started. Maybe it's similar to the Uub situation and gives an answer. I have a feeling the hairstyle was chosen on purpose after all.
Maybe this was all already confirmed but I think it's interesting if Uub would be the counterpart to the makaioshin
What? We know what Uub is. He's Majin Buu reborn as a human. Not a Kai. The God ki came from Buu absorbing a Kai.
@@Soma6372 I know but did the absorbing of the kai impact the reincarnation? Because Uub isn't pure majin buu reincarnated he reincarnated with the kai part too, if that makes more sense of what I meant. (and the hair indicates he's somewhat related to the kai)

It would be awesome to see the demon realm and more demons in Dragon Ball to expand the lore and the world and universe of Dragon Ball.
If this is true and a demon will try and make another version of Majin Buu, then why would they all turn into children. That is weird to me. Either two things that I can think of that would explain that:
1. The short, fat demon guy that is to succeed Debura turned everyone into children to enact a plan to take on the heroes before the other demon created another Majin Buu to take the the throne for himself.
2. The demon that tries to create another Majin Buu makes a creature similar to Majin Buu that actually becomes more powerful by absorbing youth from other beings, kind of like Vulture from Spider-Man. That would be awesome if that actually happened, that this "new Buu" would absorbe peoples' youth.

Honestly, I feel like DragonBall super itself is just a huge cash grab at this point. plus given how bad toriyamas memory was when he was alive even during his prime years, it was expected that this super series taking place in between events in dbz was bound to make them retcon things inevitably which they have.
I do think it's sad that daima isn't getting promoted much considering I feel like toriyama put more effort into it than he has with super, yet it's not going to get the same love and attention, which is beyond sad.

Given their reasoning, Cell Max being more powerful due to being a pure biological lifeform with power that grew as he aged and kept in seclusion; than doing the exact same thing but with the original Cell would be wayyy too OP even if it meant introducing a new ass-pull transformation. It's arguably the reason why the Androids don't just magically "get stronger" and still behave as organic lifeforms.
Cell would be BUSTED if he kept all of the same properties he did as before, but with the additional ability to chemically strengthen himself, transform beyond his "Perfect" form.
It's why Cell Max wasn't really a remake of Cell, they were two drastically different beings, they just based the design of their abomination off of Cell. This is literally explained in the movie.
You (and others) just wanted to see Cell again. When the reality is that Cell Max wasn't meant to be remotely close to what Cell was, they just gave you his design because they knew fans wanted him in some aspect, but they weren't going to give you the original with some obscure upgrade. It wasn't going to make sense to bring the original Cell back the same way (or close to) they did with Frieza.

I doubt it considering if they could we likely would've seen it in the trailer already. Plus, I'm sure they want to save the Super transformations for whenever the series picks up.
Of course they will! If these are still adults that have been reverted to kids (like in GT), they should still remember how to transform but their bodies may not be able to hold it for a long period of time. I'd be VERY surprised if we got a Dragonball show without transformations!
I'm a tad disappointed about the new Majin Buu thing, but I'm sure it'll be cool. I'm also trying to remember that this is the most Toriyama had ever been involved with a DB project as far as we know and I wan to be respectful to what he wanted to do.

Toriyama and toei never promised a continuation of the story into Moro or Granolah. Fans just made that shit up because they couldn't be bothered to pick up the entire DBS manga story and read it for themselves

When I heard it was Goku and gang becoming kids I was ready to pass but this story idea has potential.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that someone from the demon realm casts a spell which makes everyone turn into kids and a majority of the series is the Z fighters collecting the Dragonballs and fighting demons to make a wish to get back to normal. Goku & Vegeta get most of the fights but it's Goku that ultimately beats the villain in the end and they seal off the demon realm so they can't cross over again and they never mention this event ever again. Sound plausible?

From my understanding, Super is the direct continuation of Z (which is the direct continuation of the original manga of when Goku was a kid) and was directly written by Akira Toriyama himself so therefore that makes it canon. He didn’t write GT or the OVAs or any of the games. Now that Toyotaro has taken over since Toriyama passed, it’s hard to say whether Super is truly canon.
