Aaawww thank you 🙂🤗
Beautiful gardening
Thank you 😊
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Definitely going to try and achieve the concept you have here!
Very nice garden i like very much your white rose and lemon trees
Thank you, the roses were already here and I feel in love with roses after I saw them bloom. It was then that I started liking roses. Are you growing anything?
Rosemary does well in the shade... mine too looked like yours until I relocated it in a shady spot. Great video. ❤😊
I've noticed that's Rosemary does well in shade and in direct sun. It's a great plant to add for culinary or just for landscaping
Absolutely breathtaking! I couldn’t be more happy for you and your family. God bless.
Thank you so much, this little court yard is very enchanting 😍. We recently moved to a much bigger lot. I havent begun my new garden but im hoping to make it as cozy as this open. Thank you for watching 😍

Thank you and welcome 🤗❤
Wow I love all the variety of fruit trees in containers
Thank you so much 🤗🙂
I died when you showed the hummingbird nest😍🙆♂️
Aaaawwww thank you 🥰🥰 I loved it too
I love how much food you pack into your small space - in a beautiful way too. Great idea to let the cucumber use the old tree for a trellis.
Thank you, I'm trying 😅. Im excited for this growing season, hopefully I can grow more veggies than I did last year. 🤗 is it warm over there yet?
It is getting warmer. In fact I got a bit of a sunburn on Monday. We have dipped below freezing the last few nights and it looks like some cooler days ahead. Our average last frost date is next week. I’ve moved most of my things out to my little greenhouse and am using frost blankets in there some nights. I also have quite a bit planted. It’s a real up and down time of year temperature wise for us.
Your courtyard is beautiful...Great idea of what you can do with small spaces 👍🏽 Loved the white roses 🌹 tfs 😊
thank you, I'm trying 🤗. I think I'm almost at my max with the space here. Lol... may one or two more trees 😂🤔. I actually wasn't attractive to roses until I moved here. I really like how they look in my landscape 🤗❤
Super Hummingbird nest. Surely they like your front yard and surrounding area. Definitely they feel safe.
They do, I see them in my court yard all the time. They love it. One came up to my daughter's face and watched her for a min. She was soo excited about it.
Your garden is so inspiring and makes me feel sooooo peaceful. Thankyou & enjoy :)
Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching. Are you growing any food?

Tina, I'm so happy this inspired you. Let me know what you end up getting. Im sure most things will do fine in texas, they might need a little more shade than a tree her in cali but you can 🤗do it.

Nice garden and nice channel mam l liked it beautiful thanks fr shearing .
Thank you sooooo much for wanting and your support. What are you growing? Are you in California?
Beautiful ma'am
Thank you 🤗🌱
Aww, the hummingbird nest was so precious!!! Please keep us posted on the nest! So surprising that the hummingbird would nest so low :) By the way, don't knock the calamondin/calamansi tree just yet! Believe it or not, it's actually a very useful fruit. Just know that they're supposed to be sour! And it's best to use them right before they turn yellow/orange. You can use them as you would a lemon or lime, over meats or tacos, lemonade, in tea, etc. They also make a great marmalade. Just look for calamondin recipes! Some people use them on their skin as well. Just a few ideas for you :)
Thank you, the hummingbird is precious, however, I'm a little worried because I haven't seen the mamma. Ive tried going at night to check but no luck 😐 I hope she is okay. I was surprised to see it so low as well. Maybe she felt safe there. Im look up some receipts. Thank you for the feedback. Ill try to do an update video on the hummingbird. Im hopping shes okay.
👍❤️🙏
Awesome tour! I could watch this type of stuff all day everyday!🤩 Thanks for taking the time to show👍🏽 I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but I wasn’t able to comment on your last video.
Thank you for watching and for being the 1st to comment. Are you referring to the waters video? 🤔. I love garden tours, I cant watch it all day long too lol. I'm happy you enjoyed it. 🤗. The weather has been pretty bad considering were in sunny California. It started to rain right after this video. I know prople dont like long video's so I tried to move as fast as I could lol.. hopefully it gets sunny soon and I can show you guys the back 🤗. Its looks good yay. Thanks again and have a blesses day.
Yes ma’am. The watering video won’t let me comment. Just was wondering if I was the only one? If you have no comments, you probably have to upload it again as it my be an error.
Its beautiful.Looking at the yellowing on tip go the leaves on your Meyer lemons I believe they are cooper deficient.
Beautiful edible arrangements
Thank you so much! Are you growing any food this season?
Garden Love just herbs and green bell peppers. It’s fun I must say. !!!!!
Garden Love I’m learning watching you!
@@doowopshopgal yay thank you 🤗🥰🙂
@@doowopshopgal that is a great start! Happy to hear that🙂🤗
Beautiful garden! You can also squeeze the calamansi fruit and make a citrus drink for the summer. Filipinos also use it alot as a condiment and in cooking.
really, thank you for sharing. I'll look up some Filipino receipts. This little tree gives me tons of fruit I need to know how to use it. :) have a blesses day and thank you for watching.
I just found your page i watched the backyard first then this one and subscribed! hit the bell too! your edible landscape is amazing, and your very fun to watch. keep posting.
Aaawwww thank you so much for the support 🥰. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. For some reason I didnt get a notices. Welcome to my channel. Whatvare yiu growing?
Aaawww thank you so much for the sweet words. Welcome to my channel. I hope to hear more from you. What are you growing? I'm in California, where are you at?
Om my dear!! Did anyone tell you that your "Japanese maple tree" is NOT a Japanese maple tree, but very possibly an Indian curry tree?? OMG. . . that's gold! I want it!! Try breaking off a leaf and smelling it. And if you are not sure, bring it to a local indian store and ask. You could have another edible among you! :D
Hi, thank you for the information I will look into it 🤗. Have a bless day.
I love your garden😍😍
Thank you, happy to hear you enjoyed this video. Welcome to my channel. Are you growing fruits and veggies?
No i am grouing flower plant
@@soumenmahata7498 that's awesome! I'm trying to grow more flowers not that I have all the fruits trees that I can fit. Which is your favorite flower to grow and that you recommend?
Aptenia and mini jasmin my favourite flower plant..
Mam we are connecting any social media for conversation.
I love your garden! You must live in a warm climate.
Thank you sooo much! I live in Cali. Where are you at? What are you growing?
Garden love I live in Chicago where it won’t get warm until May and some years not until June. I grow mostly herbs, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers. I love flowers too! I would love to grow more food but I’m limited in space 🙁
@@Silly_Meg how long osnyour growing season? Flowers are beautiful too, Im going to try to add more flowers this year 🤗😍
Garden love our growing season is May-September. Not long enough!
I love the taste of kumquat. It's expensive here in Washington about $7 a pint.
Their so yummy, and you are right they are so pricey. Here their about $5. A pound. My daughter loves them and picks some for school lunch everyday. She had introduces it to a few kids at school who didnt know what they were. Now they always as her to bring her some lol.
You have given me so many ideas thank you so much!! I live in San Diegomy garden like yours you know we have the houses where we have a house in front of ahouse. And we have both sides the front and the back that we could use and so I'm going to get me some more trees! And I love the way you have to succulents with you the rest of your plants in the pots I have something called succulent row where we grow outside lands but I'm going to stop planting mine with my food too! #Lead73 sent me to your channel.
Hi welcome and thank you for joining my channel. Lead is awesome, my favorite. Im so happy you got some ideas and I'm excited for you. I cant wait to hear more on what trees your adding tonyour garden. You live in a better zone than I do. You should be able yo grow anything you want 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Great yard! With the kalamansi tree that you said it is not so tasty, i would suggest you harvest it when it is green :)
Thats a great idea, I can use them as limes. I have a garden your for 2020 coming up. I hioe you ton in so much has grown and change. Thank you 😊
I LOVE, LOVE, your garden!
Awesome & Great ideas with container gardening!
What zone are you in?
Hi 👋 thank you much ☺. Love to see 👀 comments like this. Ill be realizing my 2020 garden tour everything is so much bigger and Fruiting so much more. I can wait to share. Stay tone. Thank you for watching 🙂🥰
Stunning! I am in love with the style of your landscaping and outdoor decor. Very inspired by your plantings (I'm new to your channel). Such amazing use of space!
Hi Noell, tbank you so much for watching and welcome to my channel. Its taken time to get it this way, lol I've moved things around sooooo many time 🤦♀️🤷♀️ but its been so much fun. I can do this all day. If it could be my job it would be lol. What are you growing and where are you located?
@@GardenloveHomestead I'm in the Phoenix area. We recently sold our home and we're in an apartment for about a year until our son graduates and moves out, and then we'll buy a smaller home. I miss my cocktail tree (4 citruses in 1!), my garden, and other plants, but I'm enjoying focusing more on houseplants and potted plants on my patio. I just traded Elephant Food cuttings for a couple baby luffa plants that I'm hoping will grow tall in a giant container and provide me a little more shade from the intense afternoon summer sun. I would love to be planting more new stuff right now, but with the Corona Virus going around I am temporarily home from work, so I can't spend money on plants right now! But I'm thinking about taking a few cuttings off some great plants around my apartment complex to see if I can get them to grow in some of my empty pots!!
I can't remember if you said where you are in your video. I grew up in L.A. and your home/plants/patio remind me of southern Cali. Is that where you are?
@@lisanoell things are a little crazy right now and I wouldn't spend money on that either. I bet you miss your garden, but im sure once you get into your small home you can start a new garden. I am in southern California, I also grew up in LA. Taking curting from your complex can be fun. You might get a few new plants from it. 🤗
I love what you've done w/ your outdoor space! U gave me lots of inspiration! Not sure that was a japanese maple though.
Hi, I'm so happy ro hear you found some inspiration in my little garden. I've tried my best to fit everything I can. I wish I could add more but were at full capacity lol. But you can do it too. Ehat fruit trees do you have?
@@GardenloveHomestead I have 2 pawpaws (asimina triloba) 2 jujube, 1 Meader persimmon, 1 everbearing mulberry & 1 white mulberry, just planted 2 elderberry, 1 dwarf nectarines, 1 golden delicious apple tree that stopped producing 2 seasons ago(?), various herbs & a veggie garden. Hoping to be able to squeeze a Nakita's Gift persimmon in somewhere this spring & maybe pot some Gojji berries too.! I want to add some beautiful potted plants w/ edibles like u😄😍
Hi Diana! Thank you for the tour of your beautiful front yard. The hummingbird nest made it extra. Love it! I noticed also that this year my Moro Blood Orange and Limequat didn't blossom as much. I'm thinking maybe because it's under my entrance way, and not getting enough sun. Your Eureka Lemon looks outstanding considering its in a container. I disagree with people saying we can't grow food in pots. Majorities of all my fruit trees are like yours all in containers. I think with extra TLC, Fertilizer, Sun and Water they will grow and produce. Good example is your Eureka lemon, that is a lot of lemon you have there in one container. Oh btw, your calamondin is one of my favorite citrus, I actually have 3 growing, one in pot and two inground. We call it Calamansi in Tagalog. We use it for cooking, marinade, sauce and to make Calamansi Juice. Try making it like a lemonade but instead of sugar add honey. They're delish! 🤗 anyway thanks again Diana! May God Bless Us All!
Hi Jennifer, I apologized for not responding to this ssooner.thank you for your support. Your right, all it needs is a little TLC. What zone are you in? Where do you live. Over here spring doesn't feel like spring. More rain and cool weather this year. I feel like everything is behind about 1 or 2 months. Dont be surprised if your citrus starts to bloom like crazy a month or 2 after it did last year. But noth getting enough sum could also be the couse. How else do you use the Calamasi? Thanks again for watching.
Jennifer Domdom I have a Moro blood orange. It’s in the ground and over 15 years old. It’s a semi dwarf but is over 12’ tall and about 9’ wide. It bears fruit on alternate years. A heavy producer. It’s canopy shape is globular. Wonderful orange juice. Hummingbirds love it’s nectar, and hopefully have a nest in there !
Your garden is amazing 😊.......wish you were my next door neighbor......😍
Hi Amy, that would be amazing, we can share and trade food 🤗. Where are you located?
What kinds of tree is the one up front with the purple flowers? Your yard looks great!
I dont k ow the name but I think its a Penutia tree. Ill look into it and give you an update. I might do a video because I have alot of people asking me about it. Love your picture on your RUclips ID
Beautiful! I love your garden. What state are you growing in. Do you leave all of the potted plants outside year round?
Hi, I'm in California. I do leave everything outdoors. I something move a few if their not getting enough sun or to much sun. Where are you located?
Madam, the tiny oranges that you have shown and said to be Clementines are actually called ‘Calamondins’ and they are sour even when they are ripe. They are also sometimes referred to as ‘Ornamental Oranges’. Really nice edible landscape you have 👍
Thank you so much, you are right they are sour even when ripe. I'm not sure how much I like the fruit. I dont know how to use it. Any suggestions? The taste is not the best.
They can be use similar to using lemons in cooking such as in marinades and dressings. You can use them in drinks similar to making lemonade.
So funny we call them cumquats in Australia lol x .🐨🦘🐨
🙃
Love your garden! Do you use fertilize often?
Thank you so much. All my containers are fertilizer on a monthly basis. I just posted my 2020 tour 🙂🤗 have a bless day.
you can grow red reishi mushroom kit from field and forest leave it in bag when arrives grow in bag for 18 weeks open it up makes one gallon of tea drink all tea in 8 hrs costs 35 bucks
I'll have to look those up.
I love your edible garden! So beautiful and productive! I can't seem to get my lime trees to fruit. I have a kaffir and Key lime in the ground and not one fruit! I'm thinking of putting some in pots and see how they do. I live in the Bahamas with tons of sun so not sure what's going on. Any advise would be greatly appreciated ❤
Did you dig a big enough hole and Amendment the soil before you put in the tree? Do you have mulch? And do you water often? I would start by working with that first and see if it makes a difference. #1 I would make sure you mulch. Please keep me posted.
@@GardenloveHomesteadThank you so much for your response. I will try again with compost and mulch. Will let you know what happens. Thanks again.
Hi Diana, how many hours of sun does your blueberry bush and meyer lemon gets? Bdw.. You did promise is you will make a seperate video debunking the full sun requirement myth..:)
Thats for the reminder. They get about 4 to 5 solid hours. I moved from this property and have 4 acres now. Pls look at my most recent video's. 🤗 As soon as I get settled I will absolutely do that video. I thinks it will be a great topic to demostrat examples with my trees once it starts warming up.
Have you ever had a ponderosa lemon tree before? I would love to have a pink lemon tree cutting
Ponderosa? Ill have to look that up. I have not had one of those. Is that what you are growing?
@@GardenloveHomestead im thinking about getting one
Beautiful garden! What zone are you growing in?
Thank you so much zone 9b.
I have fewer plants but much bigger pots like huge pots 3 ft by 3 ft by 3 ft . My lemon tree produces about 400 lemons in one season
Hello! Where do you get your fig tree cuttings from? Thanks
I actually asked a neighbor. They have a huge tree hanging of the side walk. I asked for cuttings 2 years ago and a lot of them rooted 🤗 yay. I think i need to transplant them this year.
omg i wish i found a nest i died 😍
It so beautifully. I just found a new nest and 2 little humming bird hatch. They were sooo cute.
What was the name of the lime tree that you said it is the leaves that you use for minerals and other health benefits?
Hi, welcome. The lime is called Kaffir lime.
Ur so beautiful...
Thank you for your compliment. have a bless day!
Where are you located?
Why apply white color on plants, and what's that ?
Hi to protect them from the sun, its like sunblock
We have clay...how do you circumvent the clay?
I would buy EB stone soil booster. It made a huge difference in my soil.
How did you find your myer tree?
I when to my local nursery. Their at almost every nursery. Where are you located at and what are you growing?
What type of paint you apply to your tree?
Hi, I use IV Organic.
Does this paint keep rodents away from eating your produce? I have a problem with something eating my Meyer lemons when they finally turn into fruit. Something cleans the house entire tree of its baby fruits. Any advice?
