Really good video! Thanks for the tips.. you're the first person i've bumped into to do a car shooting tutorial 🙌🏾 1 small reminder in return, don't forget to look down the lens when you talk/vlog 🙌🏾
Thanks man! No problem! This was a learning experience for me and it took a lot of experimentation to really figure it out. I’ll make note to look into the lens mores. Even after so many videos it’s still awkward to do lol
Thanks! For a first lens on the S5 I got the 50mm f1.8 prime lens. Versatile focal length and great in low light. If your looking for a zoom lens, I would probably go with the 20-60 f3.5-5.6 to start out. For the 24-70. I use the EF mount sigma 24-70. There is an L Mount specific one though!
Thanks so much! Good luck trying it out! Securing your tripod is definitely the most challenging part, but if you have sandbags, heavy bags of rice or just anything heavy you can lay on the tripod legs then you’ll be okay!
Thanks man! Oooo! Tough question! I love my R6 for video and some of the new features on the mark II are pretty cool, but it is a photo camera first then a video camera. The FX3 being a cine camera that can take the occasional photo seems like it might be the best fit. If I could suggest a camera the Lumix S5ii might also be a great option. Affordable full frame hybrid camera with stellar video performance.
Great tips!
Thanks! Glad you found them helpful!
On point! 👌
Thanks!!!

@@EricMaloneyFilmmaker oh, rice, that’s could be an idea!
What camera would you choose, the Sony fx3 or the canon r6 mark 2? For documentary/vlog content, I also take pictures occasionally. Great Content.

what this the sigma art 24-70? can you please give me a link to the exact sigma 24-70 and the converter that you use?
This was all natural lighting in the scenes right?
Yup! All natural lighting. I’d like to figure out how to do in car lighting set ups. That may be a future video!
@@EricMaloneyFilmmaker bravo.
