- In this video, we'll visit the two popular tourist attractions in Los Angeles, the Walk of Fame in Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Sign. Due to the pandemic, the state of California is currently under lockdown. An unusual sight, the Hollywood Walk of Fame used to be crowded and lively but now it's empty. Stores, malls, shops and restaurants are closed. Tourists, street performers, CD givers, vendors and tour buses are nowhere to be found.

For people that's never been to California before , this is great !!
But all he does is go a long circuitous route that doesn’t even get close to the sign. I’ve lived on Durand and there is another street up there that he didn’t go up that gets a SPECTACULAR view. I live in NY now.

I live in LA and let me tell u this place is beautiful! Idk why so many people drop negative comments about LA :( my life is amazing here and I love it ❤
Well theres a lot of bad government in la because of the governor and some of the mayors. People flee the city because of homeless some say it isn't business friendly and high taxes
@@latonyawinkley9913 yup I agree with u there are a lot of bad governments and stuff but it is actually business friendly my dad is a businessman and he is successful! He received many opportunities here that he has never received before. Also I agree with u on high taxes this place is quite expensive but I think it's mostly because it's a tourist place

Was in june 2017 there for holiday.. that was amazing.. i love california.. so beautiful. I will speed my next holidays again in Hollywood california. I live in Germany.. "only" 9000 km. 😭😭😭😭😭😭🙈🙈

I was in California once and I really enjoyed it, everything is pretty bright in comparison to New York City metropolitan area especially the roads are black and Los Angeles everything is light and bright !

I don't think I have ever seen the blue sky so clearly in LA. The lack of traffic, obviously is benefiting the environment . Lack of all that smog, is at least one benefit during this virus. Thanks for your great video. I really enjoyed it.

I live in Arkansas but have been to California a couple times to stay with a friend and visit my brother while he was in the Navy in San Diego. Haven’t been to LA but I’m hoping to go back eventually. For some reason everything seems brighter in California.

@@WindWalkTravelVideos I'm Canadian too.. The weather is almost unlivable in the winter. People are immobilized by the bitter cold outside (and stuck indoors).. Even around Toronto

I will admit, as a jersey boy going to LA was an experience. It was really nice and made a lot of good nostalgic memories there. But also some not so good. But I will always recommend going there. And I will especially go back when on my own time
It seems like it's same in other cities (like New York, New Jersey, etc.) where everywhere is just about vacant and mainly essential personnel (i.e., police officers, firefighters, paramedics, etc.) are travelling to an emergency on the roads.😢
I always took Vermont through Griffith park to the observatory, that's as close I needed to be to it.
Nic Mininni - My home is Southern California and our elementary school would take us on field trips to the Griffith Park Observatory. And our parents as well, and to the Griffith Park Zoo. We'd end up at Canter's or the Farmer's Market for something to eat and head back to Long Beach making sure we got stuck in the worst traffic jams! Ah, memories.
And the red flowers everywhere? Bougainvillea? My mother grew them.
The ride was smooth and very enjoyable. I always miss driving in Los Angeles. Thank you very much for sharing it!

LOVE this! Going past The Dolby Theatre, Madame Tussaud's, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Roosevelt Hotel then the sign comes into view- AWESOME!!! You just never get tired of looking at it; ok, call me a freak, but I have a framed picture of the sign in my Living Room!
