  • In this trip experience, we're flying with Jet Blue in the Even More Space section. We'll be looking at the seating area to see if the Even More Space is really worth the extra money when flying with Jet Blue. I'm on the Boston-Atlanta route after stopping in the brand new Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge.

    I usually fly Virgin Atlantic but this time I'm thinking of flying JetBlue as it looks great value. I was thinking of flying with then on a transatlantic flight from London to Miami. My only concern is there inflight entertainment choice. Is there only American sitcoms & Hollywood movies or is there a choice of British channels & films? The only other problem I have is the size of the planes I really don't like small planes especially when longhaul which is the other reasons why Virgin Atlantics A350's or British Airways B787's oppeal to me more.

      That would be fun! The passengers would totally lock up, I think. "What did they say?" and the cats would run wild...

    I might have missed it but; was Even more space worth the money?

    • @TrizityTraveling

      My philosophy is to present the experience; I hope I've presented enough to allow a potential jetblue traveler to make the decision on being "worth it".
      Long way of saying, I don't normally pass a judgement unless I'm asked. And since you asked, I'd do regular economy on jet blue since it already has extra room over even more space...if they complete the merger with Spirit I'd reevaluate.

    Only one access to the lounge per year? That doesn’t seem like a good option for card holders, who paid for that card feature. The discounted cash rate seems high as well. What about other priority pass members?

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  Год назад

      I read the policy out of the PP app, so I think all members of PP get access. The rate is probably a way to keep out a portion of the traveling public and give the lounge and "exclusive" feeling that most are lacking these days.

      @davidlazarus67 Год назад

      @@TrizityTraveling The lounges are definitely missing the point. What you are effectively doing is renting a seat and buying a light meal. If they want exclusivity have an Al a carte menu and a premium menu. Give priority to those who want a premium meal, then the lounge gets extra revenue and the card gets it members in more than once a year.

      @@tarasfunhouse My brother in law is 6'5" and he always tries for the exit row, told me the plus sections are still tight, for him at least...I suspect the exit row is closer to 40" in enonomy...I always suggest to my tall clients to upgrade as much as they can, plus, then exit row, then business.
