To be 22 and have this mindset is crazy. Any other 22 year old in his position would not be as mature as he is, definitely a great job by his parents and the people around him, and a great job to you Caleb for understanding who you are and what you’re about to be. 🐻⬇️
NOW THIS is what RUclips needed!! A face to face sit down between players to show what the young guy is like in a personnel setting. Caleb was enlisted in media training at age 14 and you can see the results in how he speaks. And at 14 he became the starting QB at his high school - as a freshman - over the senior kids on the team. Yes, a 14 year old leading 17 year olds. He wound up being the country’s top ranked high school QB when he left for college. On his first play in college he ran over 60 yards for a touchdown. His team was losing when he came off the bench and beat rival Texas. He was their hero right from the start. At the end of that first college season, he was being talked about as a future Heisman winner, and sure enough, he won it the next year. By his third season he had a resume of quarterback numbers as good or better than most college quarterbacks ever. This is how you earn the label “Generational”. This guy has been dedicated to football since he was 10 flipping years old. No way he is going to quit just because the Bears lose a few games. He might cry if they miss the playoffs, but crying and quitting are 2 different things. Only let down here is that we did not get to see his "old lady". Channing Crowder 6'2". Caleb Williams 6'1" @ 1:15:41
It's not just him. Weeks before the draft, black quarterbacks go through a lot of misinformation about them! Last year, Zack Wilson was the second pick?

Wow, very mature for his age. His parents did well. He is a leader and his parents prepared him well to lead. I can tell he is not selfish thanks to his mom. I wish him well. To live alone in high school and know when to leave a scene before it gets crazy is remarkable. He said he and his friends gathered each other up and left before the craziness starts. I like this guy.
This is a good kid and he's going to be great. The Justin Fields contingent of "Bears fans" are actively rooting for him to fail so they can feel better about a guy who didn't live up to his potential. Mr. Clark, I’ve enjoyed your many inputs during your various football appearances, and as a trained journalist I can appreciate the genuine interest you show in both asking and answering questions. Growing up I was a diehard Bear supporter, but I’m now casual at best due mostly because of the NFL’s deliberate emasculation of defence. I really knew nothing of Mr. Williams prior to my fighting Irish taking it to him. I am also a Justin Fields supporter because of his character (from my limited perspective - I’m not a personal friend) and of solid characters in general. It is because of all of the above, that I thank you for this interview. It was illuminating and entertaining. The best of what journalism should be. Mr. Williams, I played defence in my younger days, and it is where my heart is, but I think you have done enough to make me start following the Bears again. do real men wear dresses and pink lip gloss with matching pink nail polish and pink phone case?
THIS is the interview I was looking for. There might be others out there but I found this one. Mad props to these guys for putting together an informative, deep diving piece. The questions were real and they let Caleb run with them and give us a peak at who he really is. Having watched it now, I am optimistic about him likely landing in Chicago whereas before I wasn’t so sure. I’ve seen plenty of talented guys fall on their asses after coming to the pros. Caleb strikes me as being grounded, focused and engaging with others. Critical assets for being the leader of a professional football team.
Yo! I love the PIVOT and now I really know a lot about this young man Caleb Williams and I’m rooting for him man. I’m a fan. Praise God for his parents and encouragement even to myself as a good parent. All I can say right on and thank you. PIVOT! 👍🏾
Pivot is the best thing to happen to football media what I am athlete could of been
It still rubs me the wrong way how the media responded to Caleb crying. Shows how be much they build athletes up just to tear them down.
It wasn't him crying that did it it's him jumping into his mommas arms to cry like that it's a crazy look for a "face of the franchise"
@@evileyevalausI think we’re all done with that
He was crying into his mom arms on national tv after losing. Do that in private
@@PunkinlunkKD cried in his mom’s arms lol what’s the damn problem. Yall are weird as hell
What was interesting is that it sounded like Caleb gave a shout out to a little kid, one who apparently got famous taking that video of him and his Mom. Like he was happy for the kid.
Banger podcast. Well shot, well edited, well scored. Great questions and vibe throughout.
I'm very impressed by this young man. He's very comfortable in his own skin. The poise at such a young age. This is real. He's going to be very good. 🔥 💯
Very down to earth young man... Wise and mature for his age
So happy we drafting bro he could potentially be the best QB we ever had.
Justin Fields was tha best......front office an coaching dropped tha ball

I’d argue two guys had that attitude…MJ and Sweetness

I’ll tell you this, Caleb one damn impressive young african american. I’m 45 and pretty sharp and this kid was straight teaching me shit.
Okay, I’m onboard. Love his demeanor and passion for the game and his greatness! Caleb is real! Super excited for the Bears!
Honestly, I didn’t care for dude at first but I love this kid. He’s super smart and knows God gift path. I wish him nothing but success!!
Crazy how mass media can skew your view of a person isn’t? Nice comment.👍🏾
So ready for his name to be called. True winner attitude. 🐻⬇️
He's a not winner. He's a folder and a choker
Lucky for the bears fans yall used to not winning so another year of yall losing shouldn't hurt to bad right?😭🤣
@@evileyevalaus too* bad (if you’re going to troll, at least use correct tenses).
7-9 last year and the FO added talent on both sides of the ball. if Caleb comes out gunning, that statement is going to age like milk.
@@FQD1911Let him be stupid. The whole world is about to see the Bears dominate in a new QB era. Bears have never been this stacked EVER… Defense will be top 5 (#1 from week 8-17 last season) and an offense stacked with elite WRs and all kinds of weapons. 2nd easiest schedule finally. Bears have always had it rough, so it’s about to get CRAZY.
He was up at 5 at 10. If yall still sleeping, yall gonna see. Im from Chi, we dont go for bs, this man is the truth, he speaks it, because he believes it. Thats half the battle. Goat said it, if you don't believe in you, why you think a team gonna believe in you??
“I can do anything, and everything, as I want!” -Supreme confidence. Chicago is getting a difference maker.
I loved Justin Fields but he is no where close in the class of a Caleb Williams. Chicago has never had a QB this exceptional. It’s going to be exciting to see him play in a Bears uniform with the talent that surrounds him.
Right on man. Great work on the interview and channel fellas. Excellent team of people with deep knowledge. Lifelong Bears fan for decades. Was 11yrs old getting to witness the most destructive/dominant defense ever fielded in '85 and was lucky enough to have watched and idolized "Sweetness" his whole career. Obviously extremely excited for Caleb to be a Bear just based on his unreal level of skill but, now I'm even more excited cuz this dude is grounded, has character and understanding of a thousand things that are gonna be valuable to all of us Bears fans as he takes the reins. Thanks for this interview
High level communication from Caleb. Really love this guys demeanor.
I’m crying happy tears. First we dominate Packers then league. 17-0 Da Bears
He demands excellence and honesty it’s refreshing
Phenomenal interview. Dude is wise way beyond his years and you can tell he comes from a great home. Anyone who has questions about him needs to watch this.
His intellect reminds me of Kobe Bryant’s. As a Chicagoan and a Justin Fields fan, who was pissed when they traded JF1; I can say, after seeing this interview, I’m interested to see if this young man can live up to the hype. Best wishes to him.
Hes sharper than kobe

i'm not seeing these "charactar issues" the tiktok, couch sitting scouts was on about 😭😭😭
You're not looking hard enough. "Lions don't listen to sheep" you have Google, right? Look up Caleb and that quote. One of MANY
@@jacobmiller9345 he jus has lots of confidence in his character 🤦♂️🤦♂️ if these arrogance issues u seem to think he has was really an issue, why would the bears be praising him this hard? saying there isn’t a single member in halas hall who doesn’t like him, they all love him apparently. You’d also think you’d hear some buzz about the ‘arrogance’ from any past teams he’s been on but have you??? no you have not so please stop being a hater bro
@@jacobmiller9345more people should have that mentality, you don’t wanna be a sheep in society and especially in football. Lions are known leaders, sheep fall in line with everyone else lol

I'm on a different level than that and need to stay worried about what my team thinks of me.
Im GEEKED after watching this!
Great interview. Great questions.
This truly feels meant to be for Caleb and the city of Chicago!

Great interview! This kid gets it. He's going to be an absolute stud. 🐻⬇️
From watching this he strikes me as a kid who loves football to the point hes obsessed with it but he seems even more obsessed with winning. He wants to be great and win so badly that he refuses to let anything interfere in the pursuit of the greatness he obsesses over.
Man the Bears have lucked out to land this guy. Really self-aware, mature, intelligent, likeable.
I was pissed about the Fields trade and then caught on to his highlights. Watched some film on this dude and now this interview. Bears are about to finally be GREAT something us Bears fans have never had since ‘85. I believe the Bears will be the new Chiefs of the NFC…
Wow as a bears fan finally getting to hear from the man him self. I’ve never been more excited for the draft.

Caleb’s mindset 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video! Nice to see the real side of Caleb and not how the media has portrayed him. I cannot wait for this dude to be a Bear!!!!!!!!
This dude different! When talking about his high school championship when he said "I knew the game was over" he wasn't just saying that to sound optimistic like a macho alpha, he legit KNEW the game was over and boom it happened.
This man had his own apartment in high school.. clearly wise beyond his years
Great interview! I was already on board with our new QB1, but getting to know more about Caleb the person. This young man is all about business and winning. Welcome to Chicago!
I'm sold. Caleb Williams is a franchise guy. 🐻⬇️
What sold you? The crying in his mom's lap or the finger nail painting?
@@NotoriousB.I.G. Both actually, a man shouldn't be afraid to express himself. It's toxicity from people like you that we don't need in this world anymore.
How in the world can you NOT like this kid as a Chicago Bears fan???!! He's confident yet humble simultaneously. I see no "HOLLYWOOD ENTITLEMENT" whatsoever.
I was raving about Caleb since his first snap at ou . You just know when a player has it man 💯💯
To be 22 and have this mindset is crazy. Any other 22 year old in his position would not be as mature as he is, definitely a great job by his parents and the people around him, and a great job to you Caleb for understanding who you are and what you’re about to be. 🐻⬇️
“I’m not here to “wow” you on pro day. I’m not here to “wow” you on game day.
I’m here to win games and do whatever it takes.”
It amazes me how much people try to find something to hate this young man for. I wish him all the success.
It's not just him. Weeks before the draft, black quarterbacks go through a lot of misinformation about them! Last year, Zack Wilson was the second pick?
@@calm1047 I feel ya on that. That stuff doesn't go unnoticed

Absolute leader ! From someone in management for last 20 years. Such an impressive individual who is going to be elite. Welcome to Chicago Caleb !
I believe in Caleb. Im painting my nails on draft day in support.
Caleb, for me, resonates as a young man of deep faith. A young man with an "Old Soul".
This is a good kid and he's going to be great.
The Justin Fields contingent of "Bears fans" are actively rooting for him to fail so they can feel better about a guy who didn't live up to his potential.
I've got news for them and the rest of the doubters and haters - it's time to believe in the Bears again.
Get it Caleb!

He has laser like focus
Caleb is a sharp dude! Can't wait to see him excel in his rookie year.
I also celebrate your individualism against the NFL arrogance..much like a Mad Mac did in Chicago all those years ago.
Awesome comment! Love it. All aboard!
Always been a fan of CW!! Much love and success to you and your family!!!
