Seconds later I realized that but the sense of peace and healing those few seconds gave me let me know that I was moving on to a new way of thinking about losing him. It’s been 54 years now since he died. I look back sometimes and think about those earlier days when I thought the pain would never become gentler. And what I believe is that in your own good time things will ease for you. But I also believe that there’s value in feeling the sharpness and the questions that come with the early days of grief. As you so wisely said, learning to pivot is so powerful. Please remember to take great good care of yourself as you walk these first steps on this new part of your path.
My condolences. My Mother’s and my birthday are a week apart and my Grandmother’s birthday is in between. My Mother was rushed to the hospital and I remembered praying she didn’t die on her birthday and continued to pray she didn’t die on my birthday 😢 She went to Glory a week later💔😭😢 I will say a prayer 🙏🏾 for you.

Ocho cincos foot drills and cone drills were something special and outta this world hard to get Down 100% right but I gotta say I started working on them when I was 18, the difference it made in my game when I was playing in a flag league after high school was incredible and people noticed! I’m sure I’m not the only one who benefited from watching the dudes workouts, and as a Steelers fan ocho was my fav receiver and will always be my favorite receiver, he also helped me to realize to just be yourself whether people like you or not, I was shy and quiet but I credit him some for helping me to find that confidence within and just be me 🙏🏽 I’m thankful to being able to see him play and the antics cause he was hilarious and a hell of a football player! Ocho cincos foot drills and cone drills were something special and outta this world hard to get Down 100% right but I gotta say I started working on them when I was 18, the difference it made in my game when I was playing in a flag league after high school was incredible and people noticed! I’m sure I’m not the only one who benefited from watching the dudes workouts, and as a Steelers fan ocho was my fav receiver and will always be my favorite receiver, he also helped me to realize to just be yourself whether people like you or not, I was shy and quiet but I credit him some for helping me to find that confidence within and just be me 🙏🏽 I’m thankful to being able to see him play and the antics cause he was hilarious and a hell of a football player! Ocho won’t ever see this but I’m so thankful to him 85 fan for life here 🙏🏽
