I used to watch this video many times as a child. It was saved on a video cassette from a music show on TV.
His perfect voice in combination with a tasteful suit and nice hands moves make this video a classic song. Unfortunately very underrated!

A great song - I think if they’d had greater time to properly fill out a single first LP with original tunes of the caliber of the first 4 hits the public wouldn’t have tired and been cautious about buying the second album

Uploaded this myself (and first :D) great track, i heard this song in a dream, one of my fav songs, and it's a great shame they quit after 2 albums, i wish they'd just carry on with this for like another 10 albums, some of the best music i've ever heard!

Liverpool and the singles off it i thought they were great strong songs deserved to be much bigger i guess the media and the hype killed them off shame because i really thought they had much to offer beyond that i think this a cool song great and their videos still thrilling after all this time i was a gay teen so i had a huge crush on paul rutherford love his dancing.

This wasn't a big hit, but I like it better than other best hits like Relax, Rage hard, Two tribes. This is like wine, and when it matures it becomes a classic.

Yes, around 1986 Frankie had lost its naughtiness and irony but even in the years of "Relax" and its glorious double language, Holly Johnson had a kinda penchant for using biblical expressions or allusions (the "tongues of fire" in "The Power of Love" is a bizarre passage from the Epistles as well), which turns out to be quite funny, I mean, the mania of quoting biblical things... from the heart of Sodom and Gomorrah so to speak. For me, Johnson was a brilliant singer and composer, and "Liverpool" a good album.

London. It's true, we met up with them at the record company and they were totally disinterested in anything ANYONE had to say. They turned up to the studio not really wanting to join in at all, in fact, they spent most of the time in the huge dressingroom we provided and trashed so badly that we had to pay for re-decoration. A very sad video indeed....too many cooks who didn't give a toss. Also, this was almost done as a freeby because the record company didn't have any money left to spend on them....truly the end of an era....shame.

Decent but not great song, but video is a mess. Doesn't fit the song, and a bit too Duran 'wild boys' vibe but set to lyrics about domestic chores! Clearly the ZTT marketing team had lost the thread by this point...
